007 First Light now has an in-game Photo Mode. It arrived in free update 1.3.0 on October 1, 2026, replacing older launch-era guides that say the game has no Photo Mode. The official notes list camera settings, overlays, filters, visual effects, and poses—but do not specify the controls to open the mode or where its images are saved.
Photo Mode is available in 007 First Light
IO Interactive added Photo Mode in update 1.3.0, released October 1, 2026. The developer says it lets you capture Bond, locations, and action from your angle, with options for camera settings, overlays, filters, visual effects, and poses. Its update notes introduce the feature with the line, “Freeze the moment and frame the perfect shot.” Read IO Interactive’s version 1.3.0 notes; the official support patch notes also confirm the update.
If you find a guide claiming there is no Photo Mode, check its date: that advice applied before update 1.3.0, not after it.

The official update information confirms the mode and its features, but does not publish the button sequence for opening it. It also does not explain how to capture or export an image from within Photo Mode. Because controls can differ by platform and configuration, there is no verified universal sequence to give here.

Where to find Photo Mode screenshots
IO Interactive’s published notes do not identify a Photo Mode gallery or save destination for PC, PlayStation, or Xbox. They do not establish whether images captured in the mode are saved through the game, through the platform’s screenshot system, or both. So there is no confirmed folder or gallery path to provide based on the official information available.

007 First Light is listed as a PS5 game on PlayStation’s official product page. That listing does not establish a Photo Mode screenshot location. For the platform you use, check the current in-game menus and platform-specific instructions rather than assuming that ordinary system screenshot controls open Photo Mode or reveal where its images are stored.

What the update notes do—and do not—confirm
IO Interactive describes update 1.3.0 as containing “over 700 fixes and improvements.” That figure refers to the update as a whole, not to Photo Mode features or fixes. The notes establish that the mode exists and name several editing options; they do not provide platform-by-platform control or save-location instructions.
