To save a GST portal page as a PDF with Nimbus Screenshot, capture the visible page, a selected section, a scrolling region, or the entire page. In Nimbus’s editor, open the arrow beside Save as Image and choose Save as PDF. Check the resulting file before sharing it. If you need an official return record, first check whether that GST workflow offers its own PDF preview or download.
Capture a GST portal page with Nimbus Screenshot
- Open the GST portal and navigate to the page or content you need to preserve. GST sign-in may involve credentials, a CAPTCHA, and an OTP, depending on the situation. Do not include passwords or one-time codes in a screenshot you plan to share.
- Choose a Nimbus capture mode that matches the content you need. Nimbus documents these modes:
- Visible part of page: captures what is currently in the viewport.
- Capture fragment: selects a section of the page.
- Selected and Scroll: captures a selected region that continues while scrolling.
- Entire page: captures the page’s full length.
Nimbus says the capture opens in its editor. The best choice depends on the page layout and the evidence you need.
- In the editor, open the arrow beside Save as Image, then select Save as PDF.
- Open the saved PDF and verify that it contains the necessary content and is readable. Do not assume every authenticated or dynamically loaded page will be captured perfectly.
These steps follow the Nimbus Screenshot vendor guide. It documents the capture modes and PDF export option, but does not describe a GST-specific tested procedure.
When to use a GST Portal download instead
A Nimbus PDF is a copy of what appeared on screen; it is not automatically an official filing artifact. If you need a return preview, receipt, or structured record, check for a download or preview in the relevant GST Portal workflow before making a screenshot.

This is a workflow-specific example, not evidence that every GST page has a native PDF.

Use a PDF screenshot as support evidence
GSTN describes its Self Service Portal as a place for taxpayers and other stakeholders to report issues encountered while working on the GST portal, including by uploading screenshots. The live Report Issue / Complaint flow asks for a “Type of Issue/Concern” and gives examples including “GSTR 1”, “PAYMENTS”, and “GSTR 3-B.” Its instructions say to search by an issue keyword, review suggested FAQs or manual sections, and lodge a complaint if those do not resolve the problem; the system supplies a reference number for checking status later.
A screenshot PDF can help explain a portal problem, but it does not replace a filed return, receipt, or official downloadable record. The GST login guide notes that sign-in can involve credentials, CAPTCHA, and OTP authentication; keep those secrets out of screenshots shared with support or anyone else.
