As of Meta’s September 8, 2026 announcement, Muse is rolling out in the United States—not India. Meta has not confirmed Indian availability in the official material reviewed, and its announcement does not verify a “1 billion free tokens” offer. Indian readers should check Meta’s official channels rather than rely on referral posts or assume a workaround will provide supported access.
What Meta means by Muse, Muse Spark, and Meta AI
The names refer to related but different things. Meta introduced Muse Spark on April 8, 2026, as the first model in its Muse model family. Meta described it as a multimodal reasoning model available at meta.ai and in the Meta AI app. In its September announcement, Meta described Muse as a personal AI agent powered by Muse Spark. “Meta AI” is the assistant product name used in Meta’s product materials; it does not by itself establish that the newer Muse agent is available in every place where Meta AI can be accessed.
Is Meta Muse available in India?
Meta’s September 8, 2026 announcement says: “Muse is rolling out in the US on iOS, Android, and muse.ai, and coming soon to AI glasses.” The rollout described there names the United States, not India. That means India availability is unconfirmed in the reviewed official sources; it does not establish that every Indian user is blocked, nor that the service has since launched there.

Meta’s announcement says Muse is free for most needs and offers subscription plans for people who want to do more. It gives no India-specific price or subscription terms.

How to check for official access from India
- Visit muse.ai and check whether Meta offers signup or access for your location.
- Check the official Muse listing in the Apple App Store or Google Play for your account’s country. Meta names iOS and Android as rollout channels, but the announcement does not confirm India eligibility.
- Use only access options and availability information Meta presents for your account and region. The official sources reviewed do not establish that a Meta account, Indian phone number, VPN, alternate app-store region, or unofficial APK will provide supported access.
- If access is unavailable, wait for an official India rollout notice rather than entering account details or installing an APK from an unverified source.
Meta also published Muse Spark 1.3 developer availability information in September 2026. Developer access to a model is distinct from consumer access to the Muse agent and does not confirm an India consumer rollout.
Can you claim 1 billion free tokens?
There is no verified official 1-billion-token offer in Meta’s September Muse announcement. Community Reddit posts discuss referral codes and redemption instructions, but they are not Meta promotion terms. The official material reviewed does not establish whether a bonus exists, who would qualify, how it could be claimed, or whether it has limits or an expiry date. Do not treat a code in a community post as guaranteed or endorsed by Meta.
What Muse is described as doing—and what its safeguards mean
Meta presents Muse as an agent that can work across connected apps. The company says users can choose which apps to connect and what access to grant, disconnect a service, opt out of interaction use for AI training, and ask Muse to forget information it has learned. Meta also says Muse runs in a dedicated cloud virtual machine and asks before sensitive actions such as sending an email or making a purchase.
These are Meta’s descriptions of its product and controls, not independent audit findings about security, privacy, or reliability. Review the permissions and privacy information shown in the service before connecting accounts or authorizing actions.

In its April 8 announcement, Meta reported that Muse Spark’s Contemplating mode scored 58% on Humanity’s Last Exam and 38% on FrontierScience Research. Meta also said it collaborated with more than 1,000 physicians to curate training data for health reasoning. Those figures are company-reported model-development details; they are not a general-user success rate, a guarantee of accuracy, or evidence that Muse should be relied on for medical advice.
