Short answer: Airtime Pro can schedule audio playlists for radio shows, but its documented workflow does not send video playlists directly to YouTube. To run prerecorded video as a YouTube 24/7 channel, schedule your audio in Airtime Pro if you need it, then use a separate video encoder—or a cloud service—to send the video to YouTube Live.
What Airtime Pro can—and cannot—schedule
Airtime Pro is an internet-radio automation platform. Its documented playlist workflow lets you arrange audio files and place saved playlists into scheduled shows. The listed formats include MP3, Ogg, WAV, FLAC, and AAC. Airtime Pro’s support information describes an audio output for a station and integration with third-party live playout software.
The official Airtime Pro pages cited here do not document a way to send a video playlist directly to YouTube Live. That is a limit of the documented workflow, not proof that no third-party workaround exists. Do not assume an Airtime Pro playlist will become a YouTube video playlist or that Airtime Pro will pass video to YouTube.
Schedule an audio playlist in Airtime Pro
Use these steps if you want Airtime Pro to schedule the audio portion of a radio simulcast or related production. The steps create a scheduled audio show; they do not configure a YouTube video stream.

- Set the station timezone. Open Settings and set the station’s timezone before scheduling. Users can also set an interface timezone in their profile, so they can work in local time while the station keeps its own timezone.
- Upload audio. Go to the Upload area and add your audio files. Airtime Pro lists MP3, Ogg, WAV, FLAC, and AAC as supported formats.
- Create a show in Calendar. Select a date, name the show, choose its time, and add it. Airtime Pro also documents repeating calendar events and show linking.
- Build and save a playlist. Choose Playlist in the dashboard, give the playlist a name, drag media from the library into it, and save. Saved playlists can be reused or edited later.
- Add the playlist to the scheduled show. Open the show in Calendar, choose Add/Remove Content, find the saved playlist in the library, and drag it into the show’s scheduled content.
Send prerecorded video to YouTube Live with an encoder
YouTube defines an encoder as software or hardware that converts video into a digital format for streaming. For prerecorded video, the encoder—not Airtime Pro’s audio playlist scheduler—must provide the video playback and send the stream to YouTube. YouTube’s current encoder instructions describe connecting with a stream URL and stream key, then checking the preview in Live Control Room.
- Enable live streaming if needed. In YouTube Studio, create or schedule a live stream. YouTube says first-time live-stream enablement may take up to 24 hours, so complete this step well before the planned start. This timing is from YouTube Help’s encoder page accessed October 3, 2026; confirm the current instructions in YouTube Studio because platform procedures can change.
- Choose an encoder that can play your video continuously. YouTube supports software and hardware encoder categories. Check that your chosen option can play prerecorded media on the schedule you need and remain connected for the full broadcast. A normal desktop streaming setup depends on its computer staying on and connected.
- Copy the YouTube stream URL and key into the encoder. In the live stream’s encoder settings in YouTube Studio, obtain the stream URL and stream key, then enter them in the encoder. Keep the key private: anyone with access to it may be able to send video to that stream.
- Configure the prerecorded video playback. Add the video or playlist in the encoder’s playback or scheduling controls. Confirm that the playlist order, repeat behavior, and start time match what you intend. These controls vary by encoder; Airtime Pro’s documented audio-playlist steps do not configure them.
- Start the encoder and check the preview. Start the video output, then verify that it appears correctly in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Confirm the picture and audio before making the broadcast public or going live.
- Go live in Live Control Room. When the preview and scheduled stream are ready, use YouTube’s Live Control Room to go live. Monitor the stream there rather than assuming that a scheduled Airtime Pro show controls the YouTube broadcast.
Software or dedicated hardware?
YouTube’s encoder help names the AJA HELO Plus as a hardware option and describes its optional PlayToStream functionality for scheduling prerecorded media directly to YouTube Live without a computer. It is a separate encoder product, not an Airtime Pro integration. Compare options by whether they support scheduled prerecorded playback, whether a computer must run continuously, and how you will start and monitor the stream. YouTube also lists software encoder options; its cited help page does not establish that every software encoder offers unattended playlist scheduling.

Check YouTube rights and channel policies before looping
Before broadcasting a video repeatedly, make sure you have the necessary rights to every video and audio element, including music, images, and clips. A license to use a track in an ordinary upload does not automatically establish permission for continuous live rebroadcast. Review YouTube’s current copyright requirements and monetization policies for reused content before building a channel around repeated or minimally changed material. A live stream being technically available does not guarantee that its content is eligible for monetization.
