Nomadic Crafting is an end-of-branch skill in the Survival section of ARC Raiders’ revamped skill tree, introduced with the Frozen Trail 2.0 update on October 8, 2026. Invest in Survival until the branch-end choices become available, then spend a skill point to select Nomadic Crafting. The exact Survival-point threshold is not confirmed in the available sources, so check the requirement shown in your own skill tree.
Unlock Nomadic Crafting
- Open the Raider Skill Tree and go to the Survival section.
- Invest skill points in Survival until its end-of-branch choices unlock. A current Beebom guide gives the requirement as “30 or 40” points, without resolving which number applies; Embark’s Frozen Trail 2.0 notes do not specify a Nomadic Crafting threshold. Follow the prerequisite displayed in-game rather than relying on either number as definitive. Beebom’s Nomadic Crafting guide and Embark’s Frozen Trail 2.0 notes describe the available information.
- Choose Nomadic Crafting from the Survival branch-end options and spend one skill point to unlock it. Embark says the revamped branch ends have two nodes, each presenting a choice among three skills; once the required points are invested, players can choose up to two of the three. Embark’s update notes describe this structure.
If you are returning after Frozen Trail 2.0, Beebom reports that the skill tree was automatically reset after the update. If your points or choices appear different, check the tree and reassign points as needed rather than assuming your prior allocation carried over.
What Nomadic Crafting lets you make
The skill description quoted by Beebom says it “Allows you to field craft a much wider range of items.” Current coverage lists these raid field-crafting categories: Beebom and PC Gamer report the same range.

- Shotgun ammo
- Shrapnel Grenades
- Grappling Hooks
- Ziplines
Nomadic Crafting does not let you craft Defibrillators during a raid, according to Beebom’s guide.

Why the exact point requirement may differ
The unlock route is clear, but the number of Survival points required is not: Beebom’s current guide uses the unresolved wording “30 or 40,” and Embark’s official notes confirm the new branch-end choice layout without giving a Nomadic Crafting-specific threshold. Embark also says the revamped skill-tree layout may receive further tweaks, so use the current in-game prerequisite as the authority if it differs from a guide.
