For the 2026 remake of Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, cosmetic DLC is purchased from your platform’s store, downloaded, then claimed in-game. On PlayStation, the documented route is Main Menu → ITEM → DLC. A separate no-cost bonus is available when you have same-platform clear data from Trails in the Sky 1st: Estelle and Joshua receive their Classic Style SC costumes when you begin 2nd Chapter.
How to access purchased costume and accessory DLC
- Open the digital storefront for the platform where you own Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter: Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, or Steam.
- Choose the cosmetic pack you want, or the season pass if you want its listed contents, and purchase it. The base game is required; a DLC purchase does not include the game itself.
- Download and install the add-on. Nintendo’s store advises installing the latest game patch if necessary.
- In the game, open ITEM from the main menu and select the DLC tab to claim newly added content. This exact menu path is documented in the PlayStation Store listing; the same labels are not independently confirmed here for every platform.
Costume and attachment packs are digital platform-store products. The title’s “unlock” does not mean that all outfits are earned by progressing through the story.
Which DLC packs are available?
Nintendo’s US storefront lists the season-pass content in three waves. These are that storefront’s release dates; regional calendars may differ. Nintendo also lists the individual items separately on the corresponding release dates.

The packs cover more than outfits: the listings include accessories and appearance items such as glasses, hair colors, orbment covers, character stands, and effects. Steam describes Original Cheerleader as the “Cheerful Star” costumes, Eternal Summer as swimsuit costumes, and What-If as costumes for certain characters. Its listing also describes attachment packs including Professional Dress-Up, Classic Character Stand, and Pocket-Sized Partner.
Individual packs or season pass?
Buy an individual pack if you want only specific items; the season pass groups its stated cosmetic waves. Do not assume the pass includes every add-on: Nintendo’s notice excludes consumable item sets and items labeled Extra DLC. Additional store-listed DLC includes Free Sample Set, Battle Boost Pack, Advanced Item Sets, Starter Set, Fluffy Creepy Sheep Costume Set, and NEO character costumes.
Get the Classic Style costumes with linked save data
Falcom says that clear data from Trails in the Sky 1st on the same platform grants Estelle and Joshua the Classic Style SC costumes when you begin Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter. This is a linked-save bonus, not a paid DLC pack. It is distinct from the older game titled Trails in the Sky SC.

If a purchased pack does not appear
- Confirm that you bought and downloaded the add-on for the same platform edition as your game. Falcom lists versions for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Steam; do not assume a purchase transfers between platforms.
- Install the latest game update if needed, then check the in-game DLC tab. Nintendo specifically notes that the latest patch may be necessary.
- On Steam, a community user suggests checking the game’s Properties → DLC list. This is community troubleshooting advice, not an official support instruction.
If you are comparing storefront offers, check the store and region tied to your account: Nintendo’s dates above are from its US listing, while prices and currencies can vary by storefront. A physical copy of the base game is not, by itself, a way to obtain cosmetic DLC.
