To stop the Samsung logo appearing briefly when your TV turns on, open Menu > System > General > Boot Logo and turn the setting off, if your model offers it. Samsung notes that menus and settings vary by model and market, so the option may be elsewhere or unavailable on your TV.
Turn off the Samsung boot logo

Press Menu on your TV remote.

Open System > General.

Select Boot Logo and disable it.
Samsung describes this control as determining whether the Samsung logo is displayed when the TV turns on. The documented path is from Samsung Hong Kong support, whose instructions may not match products sold in other markets or every model. Samsung’s Boot Logo instructions were last updated January 28, 2026.
If you cannot find the Boot Logo setting
Menu names and available settings vary by model, software, region, and purchase location. Check the user manual for your exact TV model; if the manual does not resolve it, contact Samsung support. Do not assume that a different startup screen is controlled by Boot Logo.
If Smart Hub or an app opens instead
A Smart Hub home screen, last-used source, or app that opens automatically is a separate startup behavior—not the brief Samsung logo shown while the TV starts. Supported models have separate start-screen controls, and their menu paths differ by year and software version.

2025 Smart TVs
For the Smart Hub startup behavior on supported 2025 Samsung Smart TVs, Samsung Malaysia documents Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > Start Screen Option > Start with Smart Hub Home. Turning that option off displays the last-used source first. This does not disable the Samsung boot logo. See Samsung Malaysia’s 2025 Start Screen instructions and check your model’s manual if the labels differ.
