DraftKings has separate settings for promotional emails and notifications, postal mail, location-based offers, and certain third-party data sharing. To reduce personalized betting promotions, update each setting that matches your goal; changing one does not automatically change the others.
Turn off marketing emails and product notifications
DraftKings groups marketing and account notifications by category. Turn off the marketing or product options you no longer want, and review the current screen because DraftKings says additional product notification options may be added.
- In the DraftKings Sports & Casino app: Sign in, tap the profile icon in the top-right corner, then tap Notification Preferences. Switch off the relevant marketing or product notification toggles.
- On desktop: Sign in, open the profile menu, choose Account Information, then Notification Preferences. Review options such as Marketing Promotions for email promotions and product email or push notifications. DraftKings’ notification-preferences instructions list the current settings.
You can also use the unsubscribe instructions in a DraftKings marketing email or email privacy@draftkings.com to opt out of further marketing email, as described in the DraftKings privacy policy. Service-related messages, such as notices about service or policy updates, may still arrive.
Stop promotional postal mail
In Communication Settings or the app’s profile notification preferences, turn off Postal Mail. This is a separate choice from email marketing. DraftKings says postal-mail preferences may take 3 to 5 business days to update. Its mailing guidance also says Sportsbook and Casino promotional mail cannot be opted out of separately from each other, while DFS, Pick6, or Horse marketing offers can be opted out independently. See DraftKings’ instructions for opting out of mailings.

Turn off location-based promotional offers
In your account, go to Account Center → Notification Preferences → Marketing and switch off location-based marketing. DraftKings describes consent for location-based promotional offers as optional and separate from location checks used to verify eligibility to play. Declining promotional consent should not prevent access to the account or eligible services, but you will not receive location-based promotional offers. DraftKings explains the distinction here.
If you still use DraftKings services that require location verification, do not confuse this marketing preference with disabling all location access on your device: the promotional setting and gameplay eligibility checks serve different purposes.

Opt out of specified third-party data sharing
To stop the sharing covered by DraftKings’ privacy control for marketing, advertising, or analytics, switch off the data-sharing setting. Depending on the platform, its label may be Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- App: Profile icon → Log In & Security → Login Security Preferences → Privacy.
- Desktop: Username or profile → Account Information → Login & Security → Privacy.
- Mobile web: Menu → Settings → Account Information → Login & Security → Privacy.
Set the data-sharing toggle to OFF. DraftKings says this setting prevents sharing personal information with third parties for marketing, advertising, or analytics; its default can vary by location. See DraftKings’ opt-out instructions.
Rank #3
This setting is not a request to delete your account or all personal data, and it does not mean all tracking stops. DraftKings’ privacy policy says the website or app may still be tracked by DraftKings and service providers after a sale-or-sharing opt-out. Separate Privacy Center options cover requests such as access, correction, or deletion; available rights and defaults can vary by location.
Choose settings by the kind of promotion
| What you want to limit | Setting to change | What it does not automatically change |
|---|---|---|
| Marketing email or product notifications | Notification Preferences | Postal mail or third-party data sharing |
| Promotional mail | Postal Mail in Communication Settings or app preferences | Email marketing |
| Offers based on location | Account Center → Notification Preferences → Marketing | Location checks needed to verify eligibility to play |
| Specified third-party sharing for marketing, advertising, or analytics | Login & Security → Privacy | All collection, tracking, or service communications |
If a menu label has changed, look under Notification Preferences for communication controls and under Login & Security → Privacy for data-sharing controls. These instructions reflect DraftKings’ published support and policy pages available on October 4, 2026; account labels and location-based defaults may change.

Marketing preferences reduce promotions; they are not a substitute for creating distance from gambling. DraftKings lists responsible-play tools including budgets, limits, cool-off periods, and self-exclusion. It also points customers to the National Council on Problem Gambling. Find the available options through DraftKings Responsible Play or seek help from a responsible-gambling organization in your area.
