To see other cities without changing your Galaxy’s own time, use World Clock in the Clock app. For two cities on your home screen, check whether your phone offers a Dual clock widget. When traveling, Roaming clock can show home and local time on the lock screen. These are separate features, and the available controls can vary by model and One UI version.
Choose the clock that fits where you want to see the time

World Clock tracks selected places; it does not change the time zone used by the phone. The Dual clock widget is a separate home-screen option, while Roaming clock is intended for the home/local-time travel situation.
Check several cities in Samsung Clock
- Open the Clock app.
- Open World Clock.
- Add the cities you want to follow.
- Use the available list or map view to review the locations. Samsung also describes a Time Zone Converter for comparing time differences.
Samsung’s World Clock guidance describes checking a city’s time and weather, comparing time differences, and switching between list and map views. The exact controls may differ with the app version.

To control the device’s primary clock, go to Settings > General management > Date and time. When automatic settings are enabled, Samsung says a network-connected device uses network time; Automatic time zone lets the device use network-based time-zone selection.

- For automatic time and zone selection, enable Automatic date and time and Automatic time zone, if both switches are available.
- For a manual setting, turn off the automatic switches and select the region or time zone offered by your device.
Samsung warns that an incorrect manual date or time can prevent apps from working properly and may cause security warnings. If the selected zone observes daylight saving time, the device adjusts at the applicable date. Samsung also documents a narrow exception: Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab models running Android R may not support automatic time-zone services, and a zone in a multi-time-zone country may need to be chosen manually. This caveat is specific to those tablets and should not be generalized to current Galaxy phones. See Samsung’s date and time guidance.
Put two city clocks on the home screen
If your phone offers the Dual clock widget, add it from the Clock widgets available on your model, then configure the two cities. Samsung Community guidance describes this option, but it is not a universal menu path: widget availability and setup can vary by device and software release.

- On the home screen, open the widget picker using the method available on your phone.
- Look for a Clock widget named Dual clock.
- If it is available, add it and set the first and second cities in the widget’s configuration.
If you cannot find the widget, check the Clock widgets listed on your own phone rather than assuming that a missing control means the primary time zone must be changed. The Samsung Community discussion is supplementary user guidance, not a guarantee that every Galaxy model includes the same widget.

Show home and local time on the lock screen while traveling
Samsung documents Roaming clock under Settings > Lock screen and AOD > Roaming clock. Turn it on and choose a region. Samsung says the clock can appear on the lock screen and on Always On Display when AOD is active. The Galaxy Z Fold6 manual describes it as showing local and home time zones while roaming; feature availability and details can depend on the model or carrier.

- Open Settings.
- Tap Lock screen and AOD.
- Tap Roaming clock and switch it on.
- Choose the region presented by your phone.
Menu labels and placement can differ across One UI versions. Samsung’s Roaming clock instructions cover the lock-screen and AOD behavior; the Galaxy Z Fold6 manual describes the home/local display while roaming.
If the clock option is missing or shows an unexpected time
- World Clock not visible: Open the Clock app and look for its available tabs or views; Samsung’s community guidance indicates names and layouts can change between software versions.
- Dual clock not in the widget picker: The widget may not be offered on your particular model or release. Use World Clock in the app for multiple locations, or Roaming clock when the need is specifically home and local time during travel.
- Primary clock is wrong: Review Settings > General management > Date and time and check whether automatic date/time and automatic time zone are enabled as intended.
- Travel display is absent: Check whether Roaming clock is available under Settings > Lock screen and AOD, whether it is enabled, and whether AOD is active if you expect the clock there. Model and carrier support can affect features.
Does a lock-screen World Clock setting add more clocks?
Samsung Community guidance distinguishes a selected-city World Clock lock-screen widget, where a model offers one, from the Dual clock widget’s two-city configuration. Treat them as separate, model- and software-dependent options rather than assuming one setting controls the other.
