Authentication and connection checks
Use the connection form, not a guessed token field
Activepieces specifies Custom auth for this piece. The reviewed integration content does not state whether the current form expects an API key, token, endpoint, or another value. Open the connection dialog and use the credential instructions supplied there and by Browserless. A value copied into the wrong field can produce an authentication error even when the Browserless account itself is valid.

Run on a schedule
For recurring visual checks, place the Browserless action after the schedule or webhook trigger available in your flow. Keep the first test manual, then set the interval only after you have verified authentication, page loading, and downstream storage.
Capture several pages
Use separate Browserless steps or a loop pattern supported by your Activepieces version when you need multiple URLs. The source does not establish a bulk-capture action or a specific loop output shape, so configure and test that pattern in your builder.
Common problems and practical fixes
The Browserless piece is missing
Search the piece catalog for “Browserless” and confirm that your Activepieces instance has access to the current integration catalog. In a self-hosted installation, update or sync pieces according to your administrator’s normal process, then reopen the builder.
Custom auth is rejected
Open the saved connection, compare every value with the current Browserless instructions, and create a fresh credential if the old one may have expired or been revoked. Since the listing does not name the credential field, do not substitute a value based on an older tutorial.

The action has different fields than a tutorial
Use the labels and help text displayed in your release. Activepieces reports 13 fields for Capture Screenshot, but the public listing does not document their names or detailed behavior. Version differences are therefore expected.
The flow succeeds but the next step cannot use the image

Do not confuse a flow screenshot with an E2E test screenshot
Activepieces’ full-stack E2E testing guide documents Playwright screenshots as debugging artifacts. Its examples call page.screenshot() from a browser test so a developer can inspect what happened when a test fails. That is a testing workflow, not the no-code Browserless action described above.
