Sign in to the site in your browser, open the protected page, then start the Awesome Screenshot extension and choose Capture → Full Page. The page must be available in the active browser tab; the vendor documents the steps but does not guarantee that every login-protected page or site will capture correctly.
Capture a logged-in page with Awesome Screenshot
- Sign in to the website in your browser as usual, then open the page you want to capture.
- Start the Awesome Screenshot extension from the browser toolbar.
- Choose Capture, then Full Page to capture the scrolling page. These labels apply to Chrome-extension-compatible browsers, including Chrome and Edge.
- In Safari, start the extension and choose Capture Full Page. In Firefox, choose Capture Entire Page.
The documented workflow is to authenticate in the browser first and then capture from that page. The help instructions do not establish that every single-page app, embedded frame, private document viewer, or other protected site will work.
If full-page capture is unavailable
Awesome Screenshot says browser restrictions can prevent its scripts from running on certain pages, making Full Page and Selected Area unavailable. Its examples include browser settings pages, extension-store pages, and chrome:// URLs. When this happens, select Visible Part or Entire Screen & App Window, then crop the image if needed. Permission and privacy context
Awesome Screenshot says its “On all sites” permission is required to capture screenshots and recordings across websites you choose to use it on. The company also says the extension does not run in the background or secretly record. Those are the vendor’s explanations and claims, not an independent security assessment.
