To capture a long webpage from Chrome on a Samsung tablet, open the page and tap More (⋮) > Share… > Long screenshot. Drag the crop handles to set the length, tap Confirm, then save or share the image. Google documents this flow for Chrome on Android phones and tablets; it is not specific to India.
Take a long screenshot from Chrome
- Open the webpage in Chrome and move near the beginning of the content you want to capture.
- Tap Chrome’s More (⋮) menu near the address bar, then tap Share….
- Choose Long screenshot.
- Drag the crop handles to include the content you need, then tap Confirm.
- Save the image on the tablet or share it with another app.
These are Google’s documented steps for Chrome on Android: Share pages in Chrome – Android. The labels or availability may differ with Chrome or tablet software updates.
Use Samsung’s screenshot and Scroll capture instead
If Chrome’s Long screenshot option is missing, or you want to capture a page using Samsung’s system controls, take a normal screenshot first. On most Galaxy tablets, press Power + Volume Down together. On applicable older models with a physical Home button, Samsung documents Power + Home instead.

When the screenshot toolbar appears, tap Scroll capture to extend the image down scrollable content. Continue using the control as needed, then finish the capture. Samsung describes this option for long content, but its availability and menus can vary by device and software version. You do not need a separate app or accessory for either documented method. Samsung’s controls can differ by tablet model and software version, so the exact steps are not guaranteed to be identical on every Galaxy Tab.
If you only need a normal screenshot
Press Power + Volume Down together on most Samsung tablets. If your model has a physical Home button, the applicable combination may be Power + Home. This captures the current screen rather than extending down the webpage.

Troubleshoot missing controls and failed captures
Long screenshot is not in Chrome’s Share menu
Feature availability may vary. Check Chrome’s current menu; if the option is absent, try a standard screenshot and Samsung’s Scroll capture toolbar control. Scroll capture is intended for scrollable content and may not appear for every device, app, or page.

If the setting exists on your tablet, check Settings > Advanced features > Screenshots and screen recorder and enable Show toolbar after capturing. Samsung notes that menu paths vary by model and software version.

The button combination does not work
Press the relevant buttons at the same time. Check whether the keys are blocked or damaged, and whether access restrictions are interfering. Samsung lists button condition and access restrictions among possible causes.
The screenshot cannot be saved
Check available internal storage. Samsung’s India troubleshooting guidance for devices running Android 13 identifies insufficient storage as one possible reason a screenshot may fail. The page was updated June 15, 2023, and its guidance does not establish the exact cause on other Android versions: Samsung India screenshot troubleshooting.
