To capture a whole webpage in Brave, install the FireShot extension, open the page, then choose FireShot’s Capture entire page option and save the result. FireShot’s official site lists Brave as a supported browser, and its Chrome Web Store listing distinguishes entire-page capture from visible-area and selection capture.
Install FireShot in Brave
- In Brave, open the Chrome Web Store listing for Take Webpage Screenshots Entirely – FireShot. The listing name and current installation prompts may change, so follow the prompts Brave displays.
- After installation, open Brave’s Extensions menu. Pin FireShot to the toolbar if you want quicker access. The exact menu labels may differ between Brave versions.
FireShot’s official site lists Brave among its supported browsers. That confirms browser support, but it does not guarantee that every website or page will capture perfectly.
Capture the entire page
- Open the webpage you want to save and let it load.
- Click the FireShot icon in Brave’s toolbar. If it is not visible, open the Extensions menu and select it.
- Choose Capture entire page, rather than the visible-area or selection option. A Brave-focused walkthrough published in 2022 demonstrates this workflow; current prompts and labels may vary.
- Save or export the capture in the format you need.
- Open the saved file and check that the content you intended to capture is present before sharing it.
Choose the right capture and output
FireShot’s Chrome Web Store listing describes three capture scopes: the entire page, the visible portion, and a selected area. For content below the browser window, select the entire-page option. The listing names PDF, JPEG, GIF, and PNG among its output formats, as well as actions such as printing and copying.
Listing metadata is mutable: as of the listing information accessed October 3, 2026, it reported version 2.1.4.18, updated May 23, 2026. Check the store listing for current version and update details.

Troubleshoot a FireShot capture
- FireShot is not on the toolbar: Open Brave’s Extensions menu and pin it. Toolbar controls can vary by Brave version.
- You only captured what was visible: Reopen FireShot and choose its entire-page mode instead of visible-area capture.
- The page or part of it is missing: Confirm the page has finished loading, then try again. Browser support does not ensure flawless capture on every site.
- The export is not in the format you want: Check the available save or export choices. The store listing names PDF, JPEG, GIF, and PNG.
- You cannot find a menu command shown in an older guide: Follow the current extension interface. FireShot’s official Pro manual dates from 2016, so its wording and packaging may not match the current version.
