In Brave desktop, use Chromium DevTools’ Capture full size screenshot command to save the page beyond the visible screen as an image. Open DevTools, open its command menu, search for the command, and select it. The regular Brave screenshot tool is a separate feature; the available guidance does not establish that it captures an entire long page.
Capture a full webpage in Brave with DevTools
- Open the webpage in Brave desktop. Wait for the content you need to appear.
- Open Developer Tools. On Windows or Linux, press Ctrl+Shift+I or F12. On macOS, press Cmd+Option+I. Shortcut availability can depend on platform and settings.
- Open the DevTools command menu. Press Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows or Linux, or Cmd+Shift+P on macOS.
- Find the full-page command. Type Capture full size screenshot. If it is not listed, search for “screenshot” and review the available capture commands.
- Select the command. Brave should save a PNG containing the full page. Check your downloads or the browser’s download indicator, then open the image to confirm it includes the portion below the fold.

A full-page capture may not look exactly like the page as you viewed it while scrolling. Content that loads only when it approaches the viewport, moving elements, and sticky headers can affect what appears in a single capture. This is a general limitation to check for, not a documented Brave-specific defect.
- Open the saved PNG and inspect the top, middle, and bottom rather than relying on the download completing.
- If important images or sections are missing, revisit the page and let it finish loading before capturing. For lazy-loaded content, scroll through the page first so those elements have a chance to load, then retry.
- If a sticky element appears repeatedly or overlays content, consider whether a print/PDF output better suits your purpose; it will be paginated rather than one tall image.
What if Brave Leo offers a full-page screenshot?
A Brave Community reply reports that Leo had a full-page screenshot capability in version 1.79.118 and distinguishes it from the browser’s ordinary screenshot/share menu. That is a community report, not verified official release documentation, so availability may vary by current Brave version.
