To capture an entire web app page without buying software, open it in Microsoft Edge, open the browser’s Screenshot tool, and choose Capture full page. That captures content below the visible screen; Windows Snipping Tool is better for a screen, window, or selected region.
Capture the entire webpage in Microsoft Edge
- Open the web app page in Microsoft Edge and wait for the content you need to capture to load.
- Open Edge’s built-in Screenshot tool. Its location and interface wording can change with browser updates.
- Select Capture full page. To capture only a portion, choose the selected-area option instead.
- Review the result. Microsoft says Edge lets you mark it up, copy it, or save it.
The full-page option is intended to include content beyond the current viewport. It is a browser capture, not a guarantee that every interactive, protected, or dynamically loaded app will appear exactly as it does during use. Use Snipping Tool for what is on screen
For a visible screen, a window, or a selected region anywhere on the Windows desktop, press Windows logo key + Shift + S to open Snipping Tool’s capture flow. Select the capture mode you need, then edit, save, or share the snip. A full-screen snip captures the display area; it does not capture the portions of a long webpage that are below the screen. If the full-page image is incomplete
- Content below the fold is missing: Some web apps load sections only as you scroll. Scroll through the app first so those sections have a chance to load, then try the full-page capture again. This is a practical troubleshooting step, not a guarantee for every app.
- The page looks different from the live app: Interactive or protected content may not render as expected in a captured image. Check the saved result before sharing or relying on it.
- You only need what is visible: Use Snipping Tool rather than a full-page browser capture; it is designed for screen, window, and selected-area snips.
