In Firefox, open the Tamil website, choose Take Screenshot, then select Save full page. Download the image or copy it to the clipboard. Tamil text is captured as Firefox renders it; there is no separate Tamil screenshot mode.

Capture the entire page with Firefox’s screenshot tool

  1. Open the website in Firefox and wait until the content you want to capture appears.

  2. Right-click an empty area of the page and choose Take Screenshot. On macOS, Control-click is also documented. You can open the tool with Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows or Linux, or Command+Shift+S on macOS.

  3. Select Save full page. Choose Save visible only if you want a screenshot of the current viewport.

  4. Choose Download to save the image in Firefox’s default download folder, or Copy to put it on the clipboard for pasting into another application.

Mozilla describes the feature as a way to capture visible parts of a webpage or a full page, then copy or save the image. See Mozilla Support’s Take screenshots in Firefox.

What to know about Tamil text in the screenshot

The screenshot records the page as Firefox displays it. Mozilla’s general screenshot instructions do not call for a Tamil-specific setting, keyboard, or font. If Tamil characters already look incorrect in the browser, treat that as a page display or font-rendering issue: the screenshot tool does not translate or repair text. The documented workflow does not establish that every Tamil website will render or capture perfectly.

Use Developer Tools if the screenshot control is unavailable

Firefox Developer Tools offer another way to capture the whole page, including a command option when you need more technical control.

  1. Open Developer Tools and its Settings.

  2. Under Available Toolbox Buttons, enable Take a screenshot of the entire page, then click the screenshot control.

  3. Alternatively, enter :screenshot --fullpage in the Web Console. The command also supports optional delay, filename, and device-pixel-ratio parameters.

See the Firefox Source Docs for taking screenshots for command details.
