How to Take a Full-Page Screenshot of a GST Portal Page on Windows

In Microsoft Edge, open the GST Portal page and press Ctrl+Shift+S. Choose Capture full page, review the result, then save or copy it. Edge can capture content below the visible screen without manual scrolling.

Capture the whole GST Portal page in Microsoft Edge

1. Open the required page in Microsoft Edge. Sign in to the GST Portal only if the page requires it.

2. Press Ctrl+Shift+S to open Edge’s Screenshot feature. Depending on your Edge version or market, you may also find the feature in the browser menu or the page context menu.

3. Select Capture full page, not the option to capture only a selected area. Edge captures the page beyond the visible screen without requiring you to scroll and stitch multiple screenshots.

4. Review the capture in Edge. Use the available markup tools if needed, then save the image to your device or copy it for pasting into another application.

5. Open the saved image and check that the information you need is included and legible. Authenticated, dynamic, or unusually structured portal pages may not render exactly as expected, so verify the result before sharing or relying on it.

Use a GST Portal PDF when you need an official record

A full-page screenshot is useful for showing the webpage and its interface. If you need to retain a return summary or certificate, check whether the GST Portal offers a PDF for that particular workflow. A portal PDF is a document output, not a capture of the whole webpage interface.

These PDF options apply to the named records and workflows; they are not a universal way to export every GST Portal page.

When Windows Snipping Tool is enough

Windows Snipping Tool can capture the visible screen or a selected region, which is suitable when you need only what is currently on screen. Troubleshooting a full-page capture

• The shortcut does not open Screenshot: Try opening the browser menu or right-clicking the page and looking for Screenshot. Menu placement and labels can vary by Edge version or market.

• Part of the page is missing or hard to read: Check the saved image and try capturing again after the page has finished loading. The available guidance does not guarantee perfect results for every authenticated or dynamic GST Portal screen.
