You can run a 24/7 temple-bells or meditation-sounds channel on YouTube by preparing an original or properly licensed audio-visual feed, enabling live streaming on your channel, and sending the feed through an encoder. How do I stream temple bells live on YouTube?
- Enable live access. Verify your YouTube channel and check that it has no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. YouTube states that the minimum age to livestream is 16. Review current channel eligibility in YouTube Studio before planning a launch.
- Build the feed. For live bells, connect and test your microphone or other audio gear and select authorized visuals. For a prepared scene, use audio and visuals you created or have permission to broadcast live. Listen for clipping, wind, handling noise, and distracting background sound before the public stream.
- Create a stream in YouTube Studio. Open Live Control Room, create or schedule a stream, then copy the stream URL and stream key into your encoder. Treat the key like a password: anyone who has it may be able to broadcast to your channel.
- Set up the encoder and network. Select the correct audio and video sources, then run a private or otherwise suitable test. Keep the combined streaming bitrate within your real upload capacity; YouTube recommends leaving 20% upload-bandwidth headroom beyond the total bitrate. Check the Live Control Room preview and stream health, and confirm that the sound is audible and the picture is stable.
- Test continuity and recording. If you have a backup encoder, test that failover works before depending on it. Record a local copy and verify that the file is growing. YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all.
- Review after the test. In YouTube Studio, check for stream errors, copyright notifications, and any monetization status or policy notices. If the feed contains licensed third-party material, ask the rights owner whether the channel needs Content ID allowlisting before relying on that material in a live broadcast.

How should you plan an always-on schedule and archive?
Think of “24/7” as a channel schedule built from stream sessions, not as a guarantee that a single session will run and archive forever. YouTube’s archive guidance says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived and warns that streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured. For an always-present channel, schedule repeated sessions, check each transition, and keep local recordings rather than assuming one YouTube archive will cover a whole day.
- Set up the next session before the current one ends, and verify the new feed in Live Control Room.
- Keep a local recording and confirm the recording is being written; a YouTube archive is not a substitute for your own copy.
- Monitor stream health and audio, especially after a session restart or encoder change.
- Use an appropriately sized upload connection. YouTube says total stream bitrate cannot exceed available upload bandwidth and recommends 20% headroom.

Copyright and permissions for bells, devotional recordings, and ambient audio
Religious, traditional, old, or publicly accessible material is not automatically free to rebroadcast. YouTube’s livestream terms place responsibility on the creator to have the necessary rights—including music rights—and applicable permissions for the territory where the stream is available. Check rights for the recording itself and for any music, visuals, or other material included in the feed.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches, including other live broadcasts. A match can cause a placeholder to replace the stream; YouTube may warn you to stop, and continued use can interrupt or terminate the broadcast. A license does not necessarily prevent an interruption if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel through Content ID. If you plan to use licensed third-party material, obtain clear livestream permission and ask the rights owner about allowlisting in advance.

YouTube Creator Music guidance says its tracks are for long-form videos and cannot be used in livestreams or Shorts. Do not assume that a track available for an ordinary video is cleared for an always-on live feed. Consult YouTube Creator Music usage details and the rights holder for the specific track.
Read YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams and its Terms of Service. Keep permission records and a backup feed that does not depend on disputed content.

Can you monetize a 24/7 meditation livestream in India?
Possibly, but a long-running stream does not itself qualify a channel for monetization or guarantee revenue. YouTube applies monetization policies to livestreams. Its July 15, 2025 clarification calls repetitive or mass-produced material “inauthentic content,” which may be ineligible for monetization. Build the channel around original recordings, production, and meaningful variation; a static loop should not be assumed to pass channel review.
YouTube’s standard Partner Program eligibility route lists 1,000 subscribers and either 4,000 qualified public watch hours in the previous 12 months or 10 million qualified Shorts views in the previous 90 days. Meeting a threshold is not automatic acceptance: channel review and policy compliance still apply, and individual features can have extra conditions. Creators in India should check the Earn tab in YouTube Studio for current availability and requirements before forecasting advertising, membership, or live-chat income.
