You can broadcast a playlist of Telugu song videos as a YouTube livestream by sending their playback through a live encoder. With a local setup, a computer runs the playback and encoder and must stay on and connected; a cloud service can run that playout remotely. Before you start, make sure you have permission to livestream every song and video in the playlist: owning a file or subscription does not itself grant those rights.

How a prerecorded playlist becomes a YouTube livestream

YouTube receives a live feed from an encoder; it does not simply turn a folder of video files into a live broadcast. Playback software or a playout service feeds the files in sequence, and the encoder sends that output to YouTube. YouTube’s live-streaming documentation describes encoder-based ingestion. The exact method for repeating files depends on the playback and encoder software you choose.

Prepare the channel, playlist, and rights

Confirm live-stream access and get the current ingest details

  1. Open YouTube Studio and set up a live broadcast. Follow the current live-control-room workflow for your channel. Find the stream key and server or ingest details that YouTube displays, then enter them in your encoder. Studio labels and screens can change, so use the values shown in your account rather than copying settings from an old tutorial. Keep the stream key private; anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your broadcast.
  2. Assemble the video files. Check that each file plays correctly, that the playlist order is intentional, and that your chosen playback software can move to the next file and repeat the list. Looping controls vary by software; verify them with a short test rather than assuming every playlist player supports continuous playout.
  3. Clear the rights for every item. Confirm permission covers livestreaming, the territories where viewers may watch, and any recording or archive you plan to leave available. A license for a song may not cover its music video or other visual material. If a rights holder uses Content ID, ask whether they can add your channel to their allowlist.

YouTube says live streams are scanned for third-party material, including copyrighted content. A detected match may result in a placeholder image, interruption, or termination. YouTube also warns that a stream can be interrupted even if you have licensed the material when your channel is not on the rights holder’s allowlist. These are platform guidelines, not a determination of the rights to any particular Telugu song. See YouTube Help: Copyright issues with live streams.

Set up a local 24/7 stream with OBS

OBS Studio is one free, open-source option for a local encoder; its official streaming guide covers configuration and troubleshooting. A local broadcast depends on the computer, power, playback, and home upload connection staying available. OBS does not make an untested setup 24/7-reliable by itself.

  1. Install OBS Studio from the official OBS site and run its Auto-Configuration Wizard to establish a starting configuration. The wizard can help choose basic settings, but it cannot guarantee a stable stream on your particular computer or connection.
  2. Add the playlist playback. Add the video files using a playback method supported by your OBS setup, arrange the order, and enable the relevant repeat or loop option in the playback tool. Verify that the next file starts correctly and the final file returns to the first without a blank or unintended scene. The precise controls depend on the playback source or plugin you use.
  3. Connect OBS to YouTube. In OBS, open Settings > Stream, choose YouTube if available, and enter the stream key from the current YouTube Studio live setup. If YouTube presents a server address as well, use the value Studio provides. Treat the key like a password.
  4. Test the output before committing to a long broadcast. Start with material you have rights to use and check that both video and audio reach YouTube as expected. Confirm the playlist advances and loops, and review YouTube’s stream-health indicators before relying on the setup for continuous playback.
  5. Keep the local system available. The computer must stay powered, OBS and the media source must keep running, and the internet connection must sustain the outgoing feed. Plan how you will notice a stopped stream, restore it, update the playlist, and respond to any rights claim.

Monitor stream health and troubleshoot interruptions

OBS identifies rising dropped frames and a yellow or red connection indicator as signs that the connection is unstable or cannot sustain the selected bitrate. Use the OBS streaming guide and Auto-Configuration Wizard for basic guidance; no particular bitrate, router, or computer is established here as a guarantee of uninterrupted 24/7 operation.

  • The stream does not appear on YouTube: Compare the OBS stream key and any server information with the values currently shown in YouTube Studio. If the key was exposed or replaced, use the current one and keep it private.
  • Playback stops at the end of the list: Check the playback source’s repeat setting and test the transition from the final file back to the first. Loop behavior is software-specific, so consult the documentation for the source or playlist tool you selected.
  • OBS shows dropped frames or a poor connection indicator: OBS says these signal a connection that is unstable or unable to sustain the selected bitrate. Revisit the streaming settings with OBS’s guidance and check the local connection; a specific speed threshold is not established here.
  • YouTube shows a placeholder or interrupts the broadcast: Check YouTube Studio and any notices for a copyright or Content ID match. Resolve the rights issue with the relevant owner; if you are licensed, ask whether your channel can be allowlisted. Do not assume a license alone prevents an interruption.
  • The broadcast stops while unattended: Identify whether playback software, OBS, the computer, power, or the connection failed, then restore the feed and verify it in YouTube Studio. A 24/7 stream needs a plan for detection and recovery, not just an initial start.

Local computer or cloud playout?

Consideration Local encoder Cloud playout
Where it runs On your computer, using local playback and streaming software. On provider-operated infrastructure; features depend on the service.
What must remain available Your computer, power, playback setup, and home upload connection. The provider’s service and your account and configuration; this describes the cloud model, not a verified uptime commitment.
Control and setup You manage files and stream settings on your computer. OBS provides local streaming configuration guidance. Some services describe media upload, playlist ordering, and remote operation. Verify current features, terms, and availability for your country.
Price and reliability Depends on your existing equipment and connection; no comparative cost or reliability figure is established here. Check current plan limits, service status, support, and any uptime commitments directly with the provider; no independent comparison is established here.

Or let it run in the cloud

StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded video files. Its workflow is: upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. The cloud handles looping, so your computer and home connection do not have to stay on for the broadcast.

Plan for rights and the YouTube archive

If you choose to archive a livestream, YouTube says the archived video may receive a Content ID claim after the stream ends. The guidance does not establish a guaranteed archive duration, and it cannot determine whether your permission covers a particular recording or territory. Check the rights terms for your playlist and the current notices in YouTube Studio before leaving an archive available.
