Be.Live can play a prerecorded clip during a YouTube live show, but its documented workflow does not establish that you can schedule a full recording to start and play unattended as a live stream. To use it, connect your YouTube channel in Be.Live, add an MP4 clip or a YouTube video URL, then push that media into an active show. Be.Live’s detailed clip instructions date to 2020, so confirm the current interface and file limit before relying on them.
What Be.Live can do with a prerecorded video
Be.Live documents inserting an edited clip—such as an intro, outro, or segment—into an active YouTube broadcast. You can upload an MP4 to the media lobby and push it to the stream when you are ready, or share a video hosted on YouTube using its URL option. This is a host-led live show with prerecorded media in it, not documented automatic playback of a complete recording from beginning to end.
Be.Live’s instructions for uploading a clip were published on May 7, 2020. They specify MP4 and a maximum file size of 100 MB. Because that limit and the product interface may have changed, check Be.Live’s current controls before preparing your file around that figure. Read Be.Live’s prerecorded-video instructions.

YouTube Help says a channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. The minimum age to live stream is 16. Check the current requirements for the account and channel you plan to use before setting up the show. YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.

Be.Live’s FAQ estimates that channel verification takes 24 hours; that is Be.Live’s estimate, not a guaranteed YouTube processing time. If the channel is not yet verified, allow for that possibility before scheduling a broadcast.
Prepare Be.Live and connect your YouTube channel
Set up the show
Be.Live’s YouTube setup guide lists a desktop or laptop, current Chrome or Safari, stable internet, headphones, and a verified YouTube channel. A webcam is useful if you plan to appear on camera, but it is not inherently required just to play a clip. Consult Be.Live’s YouTube setup guide for its published requirements.

Choose YouTube as the destination
- In the Be.Live studio, select Set Destination.
- Choose YouTube, then connect the Google account that owns or manages the channel.
- Authorize the permissions Be.Live requests for the connection.
- Choose the broadcast visibility: Public, Private, or Unlisted.
- Enter the title and description, then save the destination setup.
Public streams can be discovered by viewers; Unlisted streams are accessible to people with the link and are not ordinarily discoverable through YouTube search; Private access is restricted. Use the visibility that fits your audience and sharing plan.
Add and play the prerecorded clip
Upload an MP4
- Prepare the clip as an MP4. Be.Live’s 2020 article says uploaded clips must be no more than 100 MB, but verify the current limit in the studio before depending on it.
- Add the file to Be.Live’s media lobby.
- Start the live show, then push the clip to the stream when you want viewers to see it.
Share a YouTube-hosted video
If the recording is already hosted on YouTube, Be.Live’s published instructions describe sharing it by using the video’s URL option rather than uploading an MP4. Check the current studio controls and the video’s access settings; the cited instructions do not establish that every video or URL will work in every account configuration.

Schedule the show, then start it yourself
Scheduling a Be.Live broadcast creates an advance announcement; it does not establish automatic playback of a full prerecorded file at the scheduled time. Be.Live says you must manually start the broadcast, and its FAQ says a scheduled YouTube or Facebook broadcast should be started within 10 minutes of the scheduled time or the platform may delete it. Treat that timing as Be.Live’s guidance, and be ready to start the show promptly.
Be.Live clips, Offline Recording, and YouTube Premieres are different
- Clip during a live show: Add media or share a YouTube URL in an active Be.Live broadcast. This is the documented prerecorded-video use case.
- Offline Recording: Be.Live describes this as recording a broadcast without going live, for future use or audio download. It does not send an existing recording to YouTube as a live feed.
- Scheduled live show: Scheduling announces a future show; the creator still starts the broadcast manually.
- YouTube Premiere: A Premiere is a separate YouTube viewing workflow. The reviewed Be.Live instructions do not provide a current Premiere setup procedure, so do not treat it as the same feature as inserting a clip into a live show.
India-specific notes
The cited Be.Live guidance describes a general YouTube connection and does not document a separate India-specific workflow, plan, payment option, or feature set. YouTube’s live eligibility requirements cited above are also general rather than India-specific. Be.Live’s FAQ says country selection is part of channel verification, but does not establish additional requirements for Indian creators. Confirm the current account and service terms that apply to you.

Troubleshooting
- YouTube is not available as a destination: Confirm that you connected the Google account that owns or manages the intended channel, and check that the channel meets YouTube’s verification and live-streaming eligibility requirements.
- The uploaded file is rejected: Check that it is an MP4. Be.Live’s 2020 article gives a 100 MB maximum; because that figure may be outdated, use the limit shown in the current studio or ask Be.Live support.
- The clip is not appearing to viewers: Make sure the show is active and that you have pushed the media from the lobby to the stream. Adding a file to the lobby alone is not the same as sending it live.
- The scheduled show does not start automatically: Start it manually in Be.Live. Its schedule is an announcement, not an automatic start for a prerecorded video.
- The scheduled broadcast disappears: Be.Live says to start within 10 minutes after the scheduled time; check the schedule and start promptly.
- Viewers cannot access the stream: Check whether you chose Public, Unlisted, or Private and whether that visibility matches how you shared the broadcast.
