You can loop recorded NEET biology classes as a YouTube livestream by sending the playback through an encoder, either from a computer that stays on or through a cloud service. Before going live, confirm you have permission to publicly stream the recordings and every third-party item inside them. Plan the broadcast around YouTube’s archive limit: streams under 12 hours are automatically archived, so a continuous 24-hour stream should not be treated as a guaranteed single public recording.
Before you start: rights and channel eligibility
Confirm permission for the complete recording
Make sure you have the right to publicly retransmit each class recording in India. Check not only the lecture itself but also embedded slides, textbook images, diagrams, music, and other third-party material. India’s Copyright Act defines “communication to the public” broadly to include making a work available through diffusion; the specific rights position depends on the recording, agreements, and licenses. YouTube also requires livestreams to comply with its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. YouTube Community Guidelines · India Code: Copyright Act
Check livestream access before launch day
YouTube’s current help guidance says the channel must be verified and must have had no live-stream restrictions in the previous 90 days. The operator must be at least 16. First-time livestream activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it in advance rather than waiting until the planned broadcast. Choose how to keep the stream running
| Method | What stays running | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | StreamNeo loops uploaded video from the cloud to YouTube. | One flat price per slot for any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps; first day free. |
| Local encoder | A computer running encoder software, or dedicated encoder hardware, plus a working internet connection. | Provides direct control, but the local device, power, and connection must remain available. |
| Other cloud service | A third-party cloud platform. | YouTube’s encoder directory lists Gyre for continuous prerecorded streaming; check its current fit, terms, and pricing independently. |
YouTube’s encoder directory confirms that Gyre is listed as a cloud-based option for 24/7 prerecorded streams; that listing is not a guarantee of uninterrupted service or a recommendation for every budget. YouTube Live verified encoder directory

- Comprehensive biology vocabulary study
- Fascinating true-to-life illustrations
Set up a local encoder workflow
- Prepare the playlist. Put only recordings you are authorized to broadcast into the playlist or playback sequence. Check that the files play correctly from beginning to end and that the sequence will loop as intended.
- Enable livestreaming. Verify the channel and activate live streaming in YouTube. Allow up to 24 hours for first-time activation.
- Create or schedule the event. In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create a stream or schedule one. Keep the event’s visibility and start time aligned with your plan.
- Copy the ingest details into the encoder. In the encoder’s stream settings, enter the server/stream URL and stream key shown in YouTube Studio. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or share it with viewers.
- Start playback and inspect the preview. Start the encoder and check the YouTube preview for video, audio, and the correct class before starting or making the scheduled event public. If it is wrong, stop and fix the source or encoder settings before broadcasting.
- Keep the system available. The computer or hardware encoder must stay powered and connected while sending the stream. A UPS can help with brief power interruptions for a local PC, but it does not keep the internet connection available.
YouTube supports encoder-based livestreaming through software on a computer or standalone hardware. For an ordinary creator using a supported encoder, configure the encoder’s stream settings rather than constructing low-level DASH requests. Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is for keeping a YouTube channel live with uploaded videos, without leaving a computer or home connection running. Upload the class recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, then go live; StreamNeo loops the material from the cloud. It streams the uploaded file as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot, with no re-encode or quality tiers. Each slot includes 10 GB storage (pooled across active slots), 24/7 looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and StreamNeo team support. Every plan has the same features; only the billing length differs. It is YouTube-only and plays uploaded videos, not a live camera feed.

Nothing has to stay on at home; there is automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Monthly: $9.99 per month. UPI and cards are accepted in India; card checkout is available worldwide. See StreamNeo, or start the free day.

A 24-hour broadcast is not a guaranteed 24-hour VOD
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. A single continuous 24-hour broadcast is beyond that stated condition, so do not assume it will produce one complete archived video. If you need a public VOD, plan a shorter stream and a separate recording/archive workflow, then verify the result in YouTube Studio. YouTube livestream archive guidance

Archived status is relevant to monetization, but not sufficient
YouTube’s August 12, 2026 YPP explanation says qualified watch hours can come from public long-form videos and archived livestreams; unarchived livestreams do not count. This does not guarantee that a specific class stream or channel qualifies: channel eligibility and other monetization policies still apply. YouTube’s August 12, 2026 YPP watch-hours explanation

Troubleshoot common problems
- Livestreaming is unavailable: verify the channel, check for live-stream restrictions within the previous 90 days, confirm the operator is at least 16, and allow up to 24 hours after first activation.
- YouTube preview is blank or shows the wrong class: check the selected playback source, encoder stream URL and key, and that playback has started. Inspect the preview before opening the event to viewers.
- The stream stops when nobody is at the computer: a local encoder depends on its device, power, and internet connection remaining available. For cloud operation, use a service designed to keep uploaded video streaming without a local PC.
- The full-day stream has no complete archive: YouTube’s automatic archive guidance applies to streams under 12 hours. Use a shorter broadcast or a separate recording workflow and verify the saved video.
- Copyright claim or policy issue: review the recording and all included assets, confirm your retransmission rights, and ensure the stream follows YouTube’s rules. Do not assume that owning a class recording grants rights to every embedded image, song, or excerpt.
