To stream recorded Maharashtra Board lessons continuously on YouTube, enable live streaming on an eligible channel, create a YouTube Live event, and send a repeating playlist of rights-cleared lesson videos through an encoder. A local setup needs a computer or hardware encoder, power and a dependable internet connection to stay active. A cloud service can run the playlist without a computer at home.

Check YouTube eligibility and enable live streaming

YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days, and streamers must be at least 16. First-time live-streaming activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before your planned launch. See YouTube’s encoder guide and its live-streaming eligibility guidance.

Once enabled, confirm that the channel can access Live Control Room. Keep the account credentials and stream key secure; anyone who obtains the key may be able to send a feed to your channel.

Choose how to run the lesson playlist

An encoder converts the video and audio into a format YouTube can receive. It can be software running on a computer or a standalone hardware device. For a 24/7 broadcast, the encoder also needs a way to play the lesson sequence repeatedly and recover if playback or transmission stops.

Approach What must remain available Key considerations
Local software or hardware encoder The playback machine or encoder, power, internet connection, and the lesson files You manage the playlist, monitoring, and restart process. Confirm the encoder supports your video files and YouTube’s stream settings.
Cloud streaming service The service’s cloud workflow and your uploaded lesson files It can avoid keeping a playback computer on at home. Check current availability, supported formats, recovery behavior, rights requirements, and pricing before choosing.

YouTube’s verified encoder directory describes Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 prerecorded-video streams and CamStreamer as supporting continuous and scheduled streams. These directory descriptions are not independent reliability tests and do not establish current pricing or availability.

Create the YouTube Live event and connect the encoder

  1. Open YouTube Studio. Select Create → Go Live and create a stream or schedule an event in Live Control Room.
  2. Copy the connection details. In the stream settings, copy the server URL and stream key. If using RTMPS, reveal and copy the RTMPS URL in Live Control Room; your encoder must support RTMPS. YouTube explains the process in its encoder setup guide and RTMPS instructions.
  3. Enter them in your encoder. Open the encoder’s stream settings, select the matching protocol, and paste the URL and key into their respective fields. Treat the key like a password: do not share it or publish it.
  4. Set up the lesson sequence. Add only recordings you have permission to stream, arrange them in the intended order, and enable looping or continuous playback in the chosen encoder or service.
  5. Test before going public. Start a private or unlisted test if appropriate for your setup, check Live Control Room’s preview, and verify picture, sound, and the viewing experience on the watch page and a mobile device before launching the public broadcast.

Scheduling an event can give viewers a watch page in advance, but it does not itself keep a playlist or encoder running. The content source and transmission still need to operate through the broadcast.

Plan bandwidth and monitor the broadcast

YouTube recommends available upload bandwidth at least 20% above the total bitrate of the stream. This is a headroom recommendation, not a guarantee of uninterrupted service. Calculate against the full outgoing stream bitrate and test from the actual connection and location you intend to use. YouTube’s live-streaming network tips also recommend previewing the stream and checking playback.

  • Check the preview in Live Control Room before starting the public event.
  • Confirm the event appears on its watch page and plays on mobile.
  • Monitor audio and video quality during the stream, not just at launch.
  • For a local encoder, consider power loss, internet interruptions, computer sleep or restart, and what happens when a file ends or fails.
  • For a cloud service, verify its playlist, monitoring, and recovery options rather than assuming every service behaves the same way.

End-to-end continuity depends on the encoder or service, the content source, network conditions, power where relevant, and the operating process. The cited YouTube guidance does not promise uninterrupted 24/7 uptime for a particular setup.

Confirm rights to every lesson and included work

Free access to a textbook PDF is not the same as permission to reproduce, display, adapt, record, or stream its contents. Balbharati says its textbooks can be downloaded free, while its official licensing information sets terms for use of physical and digital textbook content and distinguishes third-party materials. Check the terms for each exact work and intended use, including territory and monetization. Do not assume a lesson is cleared merely because a textbook is publicly downloadable.

Consider rights for the whole recording, not just the teacher’s explanation: textbook pages, illustrations, photographs, music, clips, and other embedded works can have separate rights. YouTube’s live-stream terms require providers to have the necessary rights for exploitation of live content on Google services and to comply with applicable laws.

YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A detected match may cause a placeholder to replace the stream, and continued use can lead to interruption or termination. For licensed material, the rights holder may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist; a license by itself does not guarantee uninterrupted playback.
