You can keep Marathi bhajan videos on YouTube Live around the clock by sending a prepared, rights-cleared video feed from a cloud-hosted encoder to a YouTube Live stream. Set up the broadcast and its incoming feed, test privately or unlisted, then monitor both the encoder and YouTube. The cloud removes dependence on a computer at home, but it does not remove the need for music and video rights, stream monitoring, or a separate recording plan for broadcasts longer than YouTube’s stated archiving guidance.

Clear rights for the bhajan recording and video first

Devotional subject matter does not automatically make a recording or video free to rebroadcast. A composition, performance, sound recording, and accompanying visuals can each have separate rights. Before streaming, confirm that your permission covers live rebroadcast on YouTube, the territories where viewers may watch, and any archive you intend to retain. Do not assume that traditional lyrics, online availability, or a “royalty-free” label clears a particular recording or video.

YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content, including another live broadcast. If it detects material, it may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn you to stop using it; if the material continues, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the stream. A copyright or Community Guidelines strike can also lead to termination. A license alone may not prevent an interruption if the rights holder’s Content ID system has not allowlisted your channel. YouTube advises: “If you’ve licensed third-party content to use in your stream, ask the owner of the content to add your channel to their allowlist through Content ID.” See YouTube Help: Copyright issues with live streams.

How the cloud-to-YouTube setup works

The cloud encoder plays your prepared video and audio and sends that feed to YouTube’s ingestion endpoint. YouTube treats the incoming feed and the viewer-facing event as separate resources: the liveStream is the feed, while the liveBroadcast is the event viewers see. The API lifecycle guide describes associating one broadcast with one stream feed. You can use YouTube Studio for a standard setup or the YouTube Live API for an automated workflow; in either case, make sure the event is connected to the intended feed and verify that YouTube is receiving data.

A cloud VM or hosted encoder is a deployment choice, not a guarantee of uninterrupted service. You still rely on the host, its configuration, and its outbound connection. The documentation reviewed does not establish a best provider, suitable VM size, region, price, bitrate, or uptime guarantee, so compare those details directly with any provider before committing.

Prepare YouTube Live access and create a test broadcast

  1. Enable live streaming on the channel. YouTube’s live-production guidance says first-time live access may take 24 hours to become available. Check your channel in advance rather than waiting until launch day. See YouTube’s live streaming setup guidance.
  2. Create the event in YouTube Studio. Set the title, description, visibility, and schedule as appropriate, then select the stream type and obtain the stream key or connect the event to the relevant API stream resource. Keep the key private: anyone with it may be able to send a feed to your event.
  3. Configure the encoder to match the YouTube feed. Choose an ingestion protocol supported by both the encoder and the stream configuration. YouTube’s liveStream resource reference describes RTMP (including RTMPS), DASH, and HLS ingestion options. Use the endpoint and stream name shown for your stream; do not substitute values from another event.
  4. Test privately or unlisted. Start the encoder, wait for YouTube to report reception, and check that video, audio, and playback are correct before making the broadcast public. Confirm the correct bhajan playlist, audio levels, and intended event are in use.
  5. Go public only after checking rights and status. Verify the event’s visibility, the encoder’s connection, and YouTube’s incoming-feed status. The API lifecycle guide says to confirm status.streamStatus is active when verifying that YouTube is receiving encoder data; see YouTube Live API lifecycle.

Choose an ingestion protocol the encoder actually supports

RTMP/RTMPS, DASH, and HLS are options exposed by YouTube’s stream resource documentation, but they are not interchangeable in every encoder or setup. Select a protocol supported by your encoder and configured for the YouTube stream, then follow its specific output requirements. HLS has additional format constraints and YouTube describes it as higher latency than other ingestion options.

HLS-specific output requirements

  • Package audio and video together in M2TS.
  • Use H.264 or HEVC video and AAC audio, with a single audio track.
  • Use closed GOPs.
  • YouTube’s reviewed HLS guidance supports frame rates up to 60 fps and media segments of 1–4 seconds. These specifications are from Google for Developers documentation accessed in 2026; the page does not display a publication date.

See Google for Developers: HLS ingestion requirements. These HLS requirements should not be treated as universal settings for RTMP/RTMPS or DASH; consult the requirements for the protocol you choose.

Keep the feed healthy and plan for restarts

Check the encoder’s connection indicator and YouTube’s stream status while the broadcast is running. In OBS, a rising dropped-frame count together with a yellow or red connection square indicates that the connection to the streaming service is unstable or cannot keep up with the configured bitrate. OBS sends directly to the destination service rather than through OBS-operated servers, so investigate the encoder host’s outbound connection and capacity as well as its configuration. See OBS: Dropped frames and network issues.

  • Confirm the cloud host is still running the encoder and that the output is connected to the intended YouTube event.
  • If the connection is unstable, check outbound network capacity and whether the configured bitrate is sustainable; avoid assuming the fault is on YouTube’s side.
  • After a disconnect, restart the encoder or use a configured recovery procedure, then verify YouTube again reports active reception before relying on the feed.
  • Keep a separate copy of the source files and an independent recording plan. YouTube’s reviewed live-production PDF says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived and recommends separate recording for longer streams. Treat this as guidance, not an archive guarantee for a 24/7 broadcast, and check YouTube’s current instructions before launch. The PDF’s publication year is not displayed; this guidance was accessed in 2026. See YouTube live production guidance.

Choose where the encoder runs

Approach What it changes What remains your responsibility
Cloud VM or hosted encoder The video feed can continue without a computer at home staying on. Provider suitability, configuration, outbound connectivity, monitoring, rights clearance, recovery, and a separate archive plan.
Local always-on computer and encoder The feed depends on the local machine and its internet connection remaining available. Keeping the machine, encoder, and connection running; monitoring; rights clearance; recovery; and a separate archive plan.
StreamNeo Uploads and playlists can run as a YouTube-only cloud stream; upload, add the stream key, and go live. Use only media you are authorized to broadcast, and check YouTube’s event and stream health.

StreamNeo is a direct cloud option for looping uploaded videos on YouTube, rather than a general-purpose camera encoder. It keeps the stream running with your computer off, automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream, and streams uploads as made up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, without re-encoding or quality tiers. Each slot includes 10 GB of storage, pooled across active slots, looping and playlists, and team support. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Billing terms are available for a day, a week, a month, six months, or a year; UPI and cards are available in India and card checkout worldwide. Contact support for five or more slots. See StreamNeo for details.

Or let it run in the cloud

For a YouTube bhajan loop without managing a cloud VM or keeping a computer at home on, StreamNeo’s steps are upload your video or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It streams uploaded videos, not a live camera feed, and only to YouTube. Nothing has to stay on at home; uploads stream as made up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot; it automatically recovers if YouTube drops; and the first day is free with no card.

Common problems and fixes

YouTube does not show incoming video

  • Check that the encoder is sending to the endpoint and stream name for the same feed connected to your broadcast.
  • Verify the stream key and protocol configuration. If you use the API, check the feed’s status and confirm it becomes active.
  • Confirm that live access is enabled for the channel; first-time activation may take the 24 hours stated in YouTube’s setup guidance.

The stream disconnects or drops frames

  • In OBS, rising dropped frames and a yellow or red connection square indicate an unstable connection or insufficient capacity for the configured bitrate. Check the host’s network and encoder load, then use a sustainable configuration.
  • Have a restart procedure, and check YouTube’s reception status after restarting rather than assuming the broadcast recovered.

The broadcast is interrupted for copyright

  • Stop the disputed material and review the rights for the exact recording and visuals used.
  • If you have a license, ask the rights holder whether your channel needs Content ID allowlisting. YouTube notes that licensed content may still be interrupted when the channel has not been allowlisted.

The 24/7 broadcast has no complete archive

  • Do not depend on automatic archiving as your only copy for a round-the-clock stream. YouTube’s cited guidance covers streams under 12 hours and recommends a separate recording for longer broadcasts.
  • Keep source files and arrange an independent recording workflow that can continue or recover if the live feed is interrupted.
