To stream a Telugu podcast archive on YouTube Live nonstop, connect a playlist of your episodes to YouTube through an encoder, then keep that encoder running from a computer, a cloud service, or suitable scheduled-playback hardware. Before going public, confirm rights for every episode and embedded clip or music, test the stream and transitions, and keep independent copies of the recordings: YouTube says a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured as a replay.
What you need before starting
- A verified YouTube channel with live streaming enabled and no live-streaming restrictions during the previous 90 days. For a first-time activation, YouTube says setup may take up to 24 hours.
- A playlist of podcast episodes in a format supported by your chosen encoder or playout service.
- An encoder or playback service that can send the prerecorded playlist to YouTube Live continuously.
- Permission to livestream each episode and all included material, such as theme music, guest recordings, clips, and other third-party content.
- Separate copies of the source episodes and, if possible, a local recording or backup of the stream.
YouTube’s encoder setup guidance describes creating a broadcast in YouTube Studio and connecting an encoder with the broadcast’s server URL and stream key. Keep the stream key private; anyone with access to it may be able to stream to your channel.
Choose how to run the playlist
1. Stream from a computer with encoder software
Software such as OBS can send a prerecorded playlist to YouTube Live. This avoids dedicated streaming hardware, but the computer, encoder process, playlist, and internet connection must remain available for the stream to continue. YouTube lists OBS in its verified-encoder directory; that listing indicates workflow relevance, not a YouTube endorsement.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2. Run the playlist from the cloud
A cloud playout service can keep the playlist running without depending on a computer at home or in a studio. YouTube’s verified-encoder directory lists Gyre and Upstream for continuous or 24/7 streaming. The directory does not establish their current prices, geographic availability, playlist controls, or recovery behavior, so check those details with each provider before choosing.
#1 Best Overall
- Compatible with Nintendo Switch 2’s new GameChat mode
- Auto-Light Balance: RightLight boosts brightness by up to 50%, reducing shadows so you look your best—compared to previous-generation Logitech webcams (1)
- Privacy with a Slide: The integrated webcam cover makes it easy to get total, reliable privacy when you're not on a video call
- Built-In Mic: The built-in microphone lets others hear you clearly during video calls
- Easy Plug-And-Play: The Brio 101 works with most video calling platforms, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet—no hassle; it just works
3. Use scheduled-playback hardware
YouTube lists AJA HELO Plus as a hardware encoder and describes its PlayToStream feature as a way to schedule prerecorded media directly to YouTube Live without a computer. This is an optional specialized route, not a requirement for streaming an archive.
Compare options by ongoing cost, playlist looping and scheduling, dependence on local equipment, monitoring and failure alerts, recovery after a connection loss, and how you will preserve individual episodes. YouTube’s directory is not a like-for-like comparison of price or uptime.
Prepare the Telugu podcast archive and check rights
- Make an episode inventory. List the episodes in the order you want them played, and identify intro and outro music, guest clips, inserted recordings, and other third-party material.
- Confirm livestream and replay permissions. Rights to publish an episode as a podcast do not necessarily establish permission to rebroadcast it continuously on YouTube Live or retain the resulting replay. Confirm the relevant rights for each component.
- Keep permission records. Save licenses and approvals, and where applicable ask the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist.
- Check the playlist end-to-end. Verify episode order, audio intelligibility, levels, and transitions. Remove or replace any material you cannot lawfully broadcast.
- Keep the originals outside the stream setup. Preserve the episode masters independently so a stream interruption or missing replay does not erase your archive.
YouTube scans live broadcasts for matches to third-party content. A match can cause the stream to be replaced with a placeholder, interrupted, or terminated. YouTube also notes that having a license may not prevent an interruption if the rights owner has not allowlisted the channel. See YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance.

Create the YouTube Live broadcast and connect the encoder
- Activate live streaming in advance. Verify the channel and check for live-stream restrictions during the previous 90 days. If this is the first time the channel is going live, allow up to 24 hours for activation.
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Create or schedule a broadcast for the archive. Choose whether the event should be public, unlisted, or private, based on who should be able to watch it.
- Copy the connection details. In the broadcast setup, copy the server URL and stream key provided by YouTube.
- Configure your encoder or playout service. Paste the server URL and stream key into its YouTube connection settings, then set the archive playlist and its repeat or schedule behavior.
- Start the encoder and inspect YouTube’s preview. Wait for the incoming feed to appear and confirm that picture and sound are correct before starting the public broadcast.
YouTube’s instructions are at Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder. Interface labels may change; follow the current broadcast setup shown in your channel’s Live Control Room.
Test the stream and monitor it while it runs
Before launch
- Check the YouTube preview before going live.
- Open the watch page from a desktop browser and a mobile device to confirm the event is accessible as intended.
- Listen for intelligible speech, appropriate levels, silence, clipping, and abrupt changes between episodes.
- Verify that the playlist advances and repeats or follows its schedule as expected.
- Confirm that any local recording or backup is being created and that its file is growing.
During the broadcast
- Monitor audio and video quality rather than assuming a started encoder will run cleanly indefinitely.
- Check that the stream remains available on the channel and watch page.
- Watch for playlist stalls, failed transitions, or a dropped connection, and use the encoder or service’s recovery controls if needed.
- Retain the source episode files even when the live feed appears healthy.
YouTube’s live-streaming tips recommend previewing, checking accessibility, monitoring audio and video, and verifying local recording behavior. Checking episode transitions is an additional practical check for an archive playlist.
Plan for replays and long-running streams
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, but cautions that a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. The 12-hour guidance is not a guarantee that every shorter stream will produce a complete replay. If a replay matters, keep episode masters and a separate recording, and consider ending and restarting broadcast sessions before they exceed 12 hours. Do not promise viewers that a continuous multiday stream will have a complete YouTube replay. Details are in YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance.

Troubleshoot common problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The encoder cannot connect to YouTube | Live streaming is not activated yet, the server URL or stream key is wrong, or the key has been changed. | Check activation status in YouTube Studio, copy the current server URL and key from the broadcast setup, and enter them again. Keep the key private. |
| The event is not visible to the intended audience | The broadcast may be private or unlisted, or it may not have been started in the intended way. | Check the event’s visibility setting in Live Control Room and test the watch page while signed out or from another device. |
| The live feed is interrupted or replaced | YouTube may have detected third-party content, or the encoder or network connection may have failed. | Check YouTube Studio alerts and the broadcast status. For a copyright match, review the affected material and permissions; if it is licensed, contact the rights owner about Content ID allowlisting. For a connection failure, inspect the encoder and service connection and restart or recover the feed. |
| An episode does not play or the playlist stops advancing | The playlist entry, media file, or repeat/schedule configuration may be incorrect. | Verify the episode file and playlist order in the playout system, then test the transition before returning to public playback. |
| The stream has no complete replay | A very long broadcast may not be captured, or the recording/backup process may not have been running. | Keep source episodes independently, check local recording files while the broadcast runs, and use shorter sessions if a YouTube replay is required. |
