To stream a Kannada yoga nidra playlist continuously on YouTube Live, send a repeating audio-and-visual feed from an encoder to YouTube. Set the repeat behavior in the software, hardware, or cloud service that plays the playlist—YouTube’s Live Control Room does not document a native playlist-repeat control. Test the full setup in an unlisted stream before sharing it with viewers.
What you need before going live
- A YouTube channel that is verified and has had no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it ahead of your planned start. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility and setup guidance.
- A playback source containing the Kannada yoga nidra recording and any accompanying visuals, plus an encoder workflow that can send its output to YouTube.
- Permission to livestream every part of the recording: the sound recording, musical composition, voice, images, and other included material.
- A stable internet connection with enough upload capacity for the outgoing stream bitrate, plus a way to monitor the stream.
Choose how to play and loop the playlist
The encoder sends the live feed to YouTube; the playback workflow determines whether the playlist repeats. YouTube’s encoder guide describes software and hardware encoder options, but its Live Control Room instructions do not describe a built-in repeat button for a live playlist.
| Approach | What to consider |
|---|---|
| Computer and software encoder | Flexible for a basic setup. The computer and playback software need to remain running, and you must confirm that looping continues and the encoder recovers as intended. |
| Dedicated hardware | YouTube’s encoder guide lists the AJA HELO Plus and describes its PlayToStream functionality for scheduling prerecorded media and sending it to YouTube Live without a computer. Check its current capabilities, compatibility, and price before choosing it. |
| Cloud service | A cloud workflow can avoid keeping a home computer on. YouTube’s encoder guide lists Gyre as a cloud-based option for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming; check its current features and terms. |
These approaches are not covered by a comparative performance benchmark in YouTube’s documentation. Compare the setup effort, whether a computer must stay on, loop and restart behavior, monitoring and recovery options, and cost for your own needs.

Set up and test the YouTube Live stream
- Activate live streaming. In YouTube Studio, confirm the channel can livestream. If this is the first activation, allow up to 24 hours.
- Create or schedule the stream. In YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room, create or schedule an encoder stream. Copy the stream URL and stream key into the encoder’s YouTube destination settings. Handle the stream key like a password: someone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your stream.
- Prepare the playlist source. Select only audio and visuals you are authorized to use. Configure the playback software, encoder, hardware, or service to repeat the playlist. Confirm that it does not stop after one pass and that transitions between tracks or visuals are acceptable.
- Check encoder settings and connection capacity. YouTube’s general encoder recommendations include constant bitrate, a two-second keyframe interval, and AAC or MP3 audio. Choose a resolution and bitrate your encoder and internet connection can sustain, and consult YouTube’s current encoder settings for resolution-specific recommendations. YouTube advises leaving 20% upload headroom above the outgoing stream bitrate.
- Run an unlisted end-to-end test. Start the encoder, inspect the Live Control Room preview, and verify that playback loops rather than stopping at the end. Check the watch page on a mobile device, listen for clean audio, and monitor picture and sound while the test runs.
- Go public when ready. Once the preview and playback behavior are correct, start the public stream and continue monitoring it. A successful test confirms your setup at that time; it is not a guarantee against later connection, encoder, or copyright interruptions.
Plan for stream interruptions and archiving
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not promise that one live video will remain online indefinitely as a single archive. For a continuous channel, plan how an operator or suitable encoder or service workflow will end and restart streams, and test the restart behavior rather than assuming it will happen automatically. YouTube’s archive and encoder guidance is available in its live-streaming help.
Keep an eye on the Live Control Room and the public watch page. A playback loop, a healthy encoder connection, YouTube’s live session, and the archived video are separate parts of the workflow; check each one during testing.
Protect the stream from copyright problems
A yoga nidra recording is not automatically free to livestream because it is online or available for personal listening. Make sure you have the necessary rights for live use, including music licensing rights, and keep documentation for the recording, composition, visuals, and any other material.
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. A match can replace the live picture with a placeholder and prompt you to stop using the content; continued use may interrupt or terminate the stream. If you have licensed third-party material, YouTube says the rights holder may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. See YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.
Troubleshoot common problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Live streaming is unavailable in Studio | The channel is not eligible, has a restriction, or first-time activation is still pending. | Check channel verification and live-streaming status. First activation can take up to 24 hours. |
| The encoder will not connect to YouTube | The stream URL or key is incorrect, or the encoder destination is misconfigured. | Copy the current URL and key from the Live Control Room into the encoder. Keep the key private. |
| The stream stops when the playlist ends | The playback source is not set to repeat, or looping is not supported by the selected workflow. | Enable repeat in the playback or service workflow and test beyond one complete playlist pass. |
| Video or audio stutters | The encoder settings may exceed what the connection or device can sustain. | Check the encoder output and upload headroom; YouTube recommends 20% more upload capacity than the stream bitrate. Test with settings your connection can maintain. |
| The picture changes or the stream is interrupted | A Content ID match or other third-party content issue may have triggered an intervention. | Review YouTube’s copyright notice, verify livestream rights, and ask the rights holder about Content ID allowlisting where applicable. |
| The stream ends or its archive is not what you expected | Live-session duration and archive behavior are not the same as indefinite continuous playback. | Remember that YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Test an end-and-restart plan and verify current platform behavior. |
