You can run Gujarati Garba videos as a continuous YouTube Live feed by creating a stream in YouTube Studio, connecting its stream URL and key to an encoder, and looping your prerecorded playlist. The two issues to solve first are rights for every song and video, and a reliable plan for interruptions: a 24-hour broadcast is not guaranteed to become a complete YouTube replay.
Choose how to keep the stream running
The encoder sends audio and video to YouTube; YouTube Studio provides the connection details and controls the live event. You can run an encoder on a local computer or use a cloud service designed for continuous prerecorded streams.

Clear the rights before choosing a playlist
You need the necessary rights to use every song, sound recording, and visual in a YouTube livestream. YouTube’s livestream terms include music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers—including public-performance licenses—and other royalty participants. The rights required depend on the particular composition, recording, video, territory, and use; there is no blanket clearance for Gujarati Garba music.

- Document the rights holder and permission or license for each track and visual.
- Confirm that the rights cover YouTube livestreaming, the territories where the stream is available, the intended duration, and any archive or replay.
- If a rights holder uses Content ID, ask whether they need to allowlist your channel. YouTube says a licensed track can still be interrupted if the channel is not allowlisted.
- Do not assume that buying a song, crediting the artist, having a personal listening subscription, or finding a track online grants livestream or archive rights.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. A match may replace the stream with a placeholder image; continued use can lead to a temporary interruption or termination. An archived stream may also receive a Content ID claim after it ends. YouTube states in its live-stream copyright guidance that all live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content.
Enable live streaming and create the YouTube event
- Check channel eligibility. The channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it before the planned start. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Create a stream or schedule one. Set its title, description, audience and privacy settings; scheduling creates a watch page that you can share ahead of time.
- Choose a local encoder or cloud service. YouTube supports software and hardware encoders. Dedicated hardware is not a stated requirement; compatible software can run on a computer.
- Copy the connection details. In Live Control Room, copy the stream URL and stream key into the encoder. The key authorizes the encoder to send the feed, so treat it like a password. If it is exposed, reset it in Live Control Room.
Set the encoder and test the playlist
Use a stable setting your upload connection can sustain rather than selecting the highest resolution by default. YouTube’s current encoder guidance supports RTMP/RTMPS and video codecs including H.264, H.265, and AV1; listed audio choices include AAC and MP3. YouTube recommends RTMPS, which encrypts data in transit to and through Google’s servers.

- Rate control: Use constant bitrate (CBR).
- Keyframes: Set a 2-second interval; do not exceed 4 seconds.
- Example bitrate ranges: YouTube lists 2–6 Mbps for 720p at 30 fps and 0.3–3 Mbps for 480p at 30 fps. These are guidance ranges, not guarantees of quality.
- Upload capacity: Test the connection and leave about 20% headroom above the total stream bitrate, as YouTube recommends. More headroom helps avoid instability when the connection fluctuates.
- Resolution: You do not need 4K for a music stream. Match the output to the source and the upload connection; YouTube transcodes incoming video into formats for viewers.
Confirm the playlist order, audio levels, and video before relying on the feed. If the encoder supports looping, verify that the end of the playlist returns to the beginning as intended and does not leave a long blank or silent gap.

Start the broadcast and monitor it
- Start the encoder or cloud stream and wait for YouTube Studio to show a preview.
- Check that both audio and video are present and that the stream health indicator does not show a problem.
- If the event is scheduled, start the broadcast in Live Control Room when the preview is ready.
- Open the public watch page from another device or browser to confirm that viewers can see and hear the feed.
- For a long-running stream, arrange human checks and a response plan for an encoder, network, or YouTube interruption. YouTube’s guidance recommends monitoring, but it does not promise uninterrupted delivery or specify a guaranteed reconnect strategy.

Plan for archives separately from the live feed
Do not assume a continuous 24-hour stream will be preserved as one complete YouTube video. YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; streams that exceed 12 hours may not be captured at all. If a replay matters, record locally and check that the recording is growing and playable. Alternatively, plan shorter sessions, then test the complete workflow; splitting a broadcast is not a guarantee that every segment will be saved without a gap.
Understand monetization and originality limits
A 24/7 prerecorded format does not guarantee monetization. YouTube applies its channel monetization rules to livestreams and expects original, authentic content; repetitive or mass-produced material may be ineligible. Its policy also treats reused content as a separate issue, and collections of songs from different artists are among examples that may violate the policy. Having permission to use music does not by itself establish monetization eligibility.

YouTube’s policy page records a July 15, 2025 clarification that renamed “repetitious content” as “inauthentic content” and clarifies that repetitive or mass-produced content is covered. Materially varied work that adds creative, educational, or other value is treated differently from interchangeable template content, but a graphic, title card, or playlist alone does not guarantee approval. YouTube reviews channels and decides eligibility based on the channel and its content. Copyright exposure and monetization-policy exposure can apply at the same time.
