In World of Warcraft: Legion, start Armies of Legionfall by completing Assault on the Broken Shore. Despite the phrasing “every army,” the available Blizzard guidance describes Armies of Legionfall as a faction and campaign context—not a roster of separate armies to unlock one by one.
Start Armies of Legionfall
- Check Uniting the Isles. If Khadgar does not offer the Broken Shore quest, make sure Uniting the Isles is complete. A Blizzard forum reply identifies it as the prerequisite for accessing the Broken Shore “Armies of Legionfall” quest from Khadgar on Krasus’s Landing: Blizzard forum discussion, July 1, 2019.
- Pick up and complete Assault on the Broken Shore. Blizzard identifies this as the first Patch 7.2 quest from which Armies of Legionfall reputation begins: Blizzard’s Legion flying guide, April 6, 2017.
The 2019 forum reply notes that some boosted characters may already have the prerequisite quests flagged complete. That is a historical troubleshooting note, not confirmation of how every current character boost or account behaves.
Build Armies of Legionfall reputation
After the opening quest, progress through Broken Shore content. Blizzard lists the Broken Shore story, World Quests, and construction of Broken Shore buildings among the activities that build Armies of Legionfall reputation. The campaign overview also describes building construction and class Order Hall content as parts of the Patch 7.2 experience: official Legion guide and Patch 7.2 preview.
Keep Legionfall reputation and class progression separate
Armies of Legionfall reputation and your class campaign are connected to the Legion expansion, but they are distinct progression tracks. Advancing one does not, by itself, establish that the other is complete. Blizzard’s Patch 7.2 notes say class mount quests become available after both the class campaign and Legionfall campaign are complete, followed by the class-specific mount quests: Patch 7.2 notes.

So, if your goal is a class mount, reputation progress alone is not the stated requirement: finish both campaigns, then pursue the class mount questline.
