To show Hindi lyrics on a 24/7 YouTube music stream, create a video or streaming scene that combines the authorized song with correctly rendered, timed Hindi text, then send that finished picture and audio to YouTube Live. YouTube’s official guidance covers live-streaming methods and encoder settings, but does not document a built-in lyric overlay or a Hindi-specific setup. Test your chosen workflow before going live—and clear rights to both the recording and lyrics first.
Choose how to put lyrics on screen
YouTube supports live streams from mobile, webcam, encoder, and console workflows. For a designed music-and-lyrics presentation, an encoder-based workflow lets you compose the visual scene before it reaches YouTube. The encoder sends the combined output; it is the production software, not YouTube Live, where you arrange the lyric text. YouTube’s setup overview is at Get started with live streaming.
Option 1: Make a finished video with lyrics already included
For a playlist or continuous loop, prepare the song and lyric visuals in a video editor, export the finished video, and use a streaming method that can play that file to YouTube Live. This approach makes the lyric position and timing part of the video itself. Check that each song and its lyrics are authorized for the planned broadcast before including them.
Option 2: Add lyrics in a live production scene
If your encoder workflow supports composing a scene, place the song audio and lyric text in that scene and send the composed program to YouTube. The exact text, timing, and scene controls depend on the software you choose; YouTube’s cited pages do not establish menu names or a Hindi-text recipe for third-party applications.

Clear rights to the recording and lyrics
Rights are a separate requirement from making the text appear correctly. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions say the provider represents that it has the necessary rights worldwide for the live content, including music licensing rights involving artists, record labels, publishers, and other royalty participants. The rights needed for a particular track, lyric text, and territory depend on the works and agreements involved; these general platform rules do not determine whether a specific song is cleared.
- Identify the sound recording, musical composition, and lyric text you plan to use. Confirm that your permissions cover the intended live broadcast and relevant territories.
- Keep permission records and any correspondence with the rights holder available.
- If a rights holder uses Content ID, ask whether the channel can be added to its allowlist. YouTube warns that licensed third-party material can still interrupt a live stream if the channel has not been allowlisted.

Do not treat these as live-stream permission
A track being available in YouTube Music, an online lyrics page, or a personal music purchase does not by itself establish permission to rebroadcast the recording and display its lyrics. YouTube says Creator Music licenses and revenue sharing apply to long-form videos, not live content; see Understand Creator Music usage details and its Creator Music FAQ. Nor does a “free” label alone prove music is safe to use; YouTube explains this in Tips to find safe music.

Before committing to a continuous stream, test the actual software, font setup, playback devices, and audio you intend to use. The following are production checks, not a Hindi-overlay feature specified by YouTube.

- Use representative text. Test the Hindi characters, punctuation, conjuncts, and any transliteration or bilingual lines that will appear in the stream. Look for missing glyphs or unexpected font substitution.
- Check line breaks and timing. Compare the displayed words with the authorized recording. Make sure lines appear and disappear at the intended points and do not obscure one another during transitions.
- Check legibility. Review contrast, text size, background treatment, and safe margins. Test the result on both desktop and mobile playback rather than relying only on the production preview.
- Review every song and transition. Confirm that the text matches the version of the song being played, and watch for blank screens, leftover lyrics, or audio continuing under an unrelated lyric card.
Configure and prepare the YouTube stream
YouTube’s encoder guidance recommends RTMP or RTMPS and explains that YouTube transcodes the incoming stream into output formats for different devices and network conditions. Use the current encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions guidance to choose settings for your production. The supplied official guidance does not establish one bitrate or resolution suitable for every encoder, source, or connection, so do not copy a number without checking it against that page and your actual setup.
- Confirm channel access. YouTube says the channel must be verified and must not have had live-stream restrictions during the preceding 90 days. Check live-stream access in YouTube Studio before planning a launch; see YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
- Prepare the encoder in advance. Build the scene or load the finished video, confirm the selected audio and video sources, and configure the encoder using YouTube’s current recommendations.
- Connect the stream to YouTube. Use the stream key and connection details from YouTube’s live controls in the encoder workflow. Treat the key as a credential: do not put it in public documentation, screenshots, or the lyric video.
- Start early and inspect the preview. YouTube recommends starting the encoder before the scheduled event, checking the Live Control Room preview, and verifying that the event is accessible before relying on it.
- Monitor the whole operation. Check audio and picture quality, and confirm local archive files are growing if you are recording locally. For a continuous schedule, assign someone to monitor and recover the stream; the cited YouTube pages do not guarantee that a computer, connection, or encoder will run uninterrupted around the clock.
Plan for 24/7 operation
A successful test stream is not proof that a setup can run continuously. A computer-based encoder depends on the computer, software, power, and network connection remaining available. Decide who will notice a failure, how the stream will be restarted, and how you will verify that the correct scene or video has resumed. Test any recovery or failover process before depending on it.
