To monitor only one part of a web page with Wachete, create a monitor for the URL, choose Single page or part of it, password protected page or media file, select the content in the preview, then set how often Wachete checks and what should trigger a notification. Set up a monitor for one section
- Start a monitor. In Wachete, choose Create new monitor.
- Choose the page type. Select Single page or part of it, password protected page or media file, then enter the page URL. Wachete FAQ
- Select the section. When Wachete shows the page preview, select the specific area you want to track. Pick the meaningful content itself—for example, a price, status, or announcement—rather than surrounding material that changes for unrelated reasons. - Set checking and alerts. Choose a check frequency available for your account and select a notification type or condition. Depending on what you are tracking, you can monitor a general change, a particular text condition, or a numeric threshold. Wachete FAQ
- Save and verify. Save the monitor, then open its edit screen to confirm the selected content and notification settings. If you receive irrelevant alerts, revisit the selected area and condition.
Choose the right alert condition
The best rule depends on what would count as a useful change to you:
- Any change: Use this when every update to the selected region matters.
- Text condition: Use a particular text condition when you only need to know that specific wording appears or changes.
- Numeric threshold: Use a value-based condition when the important event is a number crossing a threshold, such as a price reaching a target.
These conditions help narrow notifications, but they do not replace selecting the right page region. If unrelated content is included in the selection, it may still produce alerts. Wachete also describes the ability to ignore parts that change often. Wachete features

If you need to watch the corresponding section on multiple linked pages, use crawling rather than creating only a single-page monitor. Wachete’s FAQ describes selecting crawling for the root page and sub-pages, then using Change selected content to choose the target area on the root page. The corresponding area should appear in the same place on the sub-pages. As Wachete puts it: “Select the area on the root page which appears on same place also on sub-pages.” Wachete FAQ
