For case-specific updates, start with the official eCourts services for the relevant High Court or District Court. To notice changes to a particular public webpage—such as a notice list that has no suitable case alert—use a third-party visual monitor to check that exact page and notify you when it changes. Treat those notifications as prompts to verify the court’s official record, not as confirmation of a legal event.
Choose the right kind of alert
First decide whether you need information about a particular case or simply need to know when a webpage changes. They are different tasks: a screenshot monitor detects differences in what a page displays; official court services are the better starting point for case status, orders and judgments.
- Tracking a case: use the official eCourts gateway to find the appropriate High Court or District Court service and its case-related options. The gateway links to case status, cause lists, orders and judgments, and other court services: eCourts services.
- Watching a public page: if you need to detect changes to a specific notice list or other webpage, copy that page’s exact address and add it to a visual monitoring service. Watching a court’s general homepage may not detect a change posted deeper in the site.
The reviewed official sources do not establish that every Indian court webpage offers an alert for every page change. Availability and options depend on the court and the specific page.

Check official case-information routes first
The e-Committee says daily orders and final judgments can be accessed using identifiers such as a CNR number, case number, court number, party name or order date. See the e-Committee service information for the described access routes.

The official eCourts gateway also links to the eCourts mobile app. Its help guide describes selecting High Court, District Court or both, while its FAQ describes access to case information, orders, judgments and court services: app help guide and app FAQ. The portal also advertises an SMS route for case status using a CNR number. Check the official portal for the current route and instructions.
Set up a visual monitor for a court webpage

Choose a monitoring mode and focus the alert
Whole-page or selected-region checks
A full-page comparison can be useful when changes anywhere on the page matter. For a long page, selecting only the notice panel or document list is often easier to interpret. Troubleshoot missed or noisy alerts
The monitor keeps alerting on irrelevant changes
Review the comparison area or criteria and narrow the selection to the notice or document region that matters. A whole-page check can capture changes unrelated to the information you are tracking.

Check that the monitor is active, the page address is correct, the target page is accessible in the selected local or cloud mode, and the notification channel is enabled and supported for your plan.
The page does not render as expected
Confirm that the selected monitor mode can access the page and that the initial capture shows the intended content. If a page uses access controls or protective measures, do not try to bypass them; use the court’s official services or another permitted information route instead.

Use alerts as signals, not court records
A visual monitor reports a detected difference. It does not determine whether that difference is a new order, whether the capture is complete, or what legal significance it has. Confirm consequential information on the official court page or through the relevant official case-information service before relying on it.
