IRL Pro is not a playlist scheduler. Its documented workflow sends a live feed from an Android phone to a configured streaming destination; it does not show how to loop stored news videos continuously. For a pre-recorded 24/7 YouTube playlist, use a continuous encoder workflow compatible with YouTube Live. Use IRL Pro only if you mean a live phone camera or presenter feed.

The IRL Pro setup below follows an Enhanced IRL guide and its stream-key dashboard; it is not a verified direct-to-YouTube playlist configuration. See the IRL Pro streaming guide and confirm its current interface and destination support before relying on it.
Set up IRL Pro for a live phone broadcast
- Install IRL Pro on Android and sign in to the relevant streaming service dashboard.
- Get a publish URL and choose a protocol. In the dashboard, open Stream Keys, select SRT or RTMP, and choose the protocol that matches your connection. The cited guide recommends SRT when a mobile connection is less stable, but IRL Pro uses a single connection and does not bond multiple networks.
- Copy the complete publish URL. Use the dashboard’s Publish action; do not retype the key. The SRT URL includes the key in its
streamid; the RTMP key is at the end of the URL. - Enter the URL in IRL Pro. In the app’s broadcast settings, choose the same protocol and paste the entire publish URL in the URL/server field. Set resolution, frame rate, and bitrate within the cap for the relevant plan. The guide’s plan bitrate limits apply to that service, not as general YouTube recommendations.
- Start a test broadcast. Check that the dashboard changes from “No signal” to “Streaming” and inspect its reported bitrate. Test at the intended location and under expected network conditions; begin conservatively relative to the plan cap and adjust after a test walk or sustained fixed-location test.
- Verify recovery before depending on it. Test what happens when the phone loses connectivity or the app is interrupted. Do not treat one successful test as proof of continuous 24/7 operation.
Set up a continuous pre-recorded YouTube playlist
For recorded news segments, find a continuous encoder or service that supports playlist looping and YouTube Live. YouTube lists encoder software and cloud options for continuous 24/7 pre-recorded streams, but the cited pages do not establish which provider is best for an India-based channel, its local ingest or support, current pricing, or reliability. Compare the provider’s file handling, looping, restart behavior, monitoring, recording, output quality, support, and cost before choosing.

- Enable YouTube Live. If this is the first live stream on the channel, activate live streaming in YouTube Studio. YouTube says first-time activation can take up to 24 hours.
- Open Live Control Room. Create a stream or select an existing one, then copy the server URL and stream key shown for that stream.
- Configure the encoder. Paste YouTube’s server URL and stream key into the encoder’s destination settings. Configure the playlist and looping behavior in the encoder itself; IRL Pro is not the playlist player in this workflow.
- Start sending and verify the preview. Start the encoder, confirm that video and audio appear in YouTube’s preview, then go live as applicable in Live Control Room. Check the public or unlisted stream page from the devices your intended viewers will use.
- Test before launch. Run privately or unlisted first. Test a playlist transition, encoder restart, internet interruption, and local recording plan. Confirm the actual account’s behavior rather than assuming a stream will recover or archive intact.

Protect the channel and handle long-stream limits
Clear rights to every segment
Do not assume that a publicly available TV broadcast, news clip, music bed, or online video is free to rebroadcast. YouTube says live streams are scanned for third-party matches, including another live broadcast; a stream may be replaced with a placeholder, interrupted, or terminated. A license alone may not prevent interruption if the rights owner has not allowlisted the channel through Content ID. Obtain the necessary rights and confirm that the relevant systems recognize them before relaying third-party material. Read YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance and its Terms of Service.
YouTube’s terms require the provider to have the necessary rights for live content and comply with applicable laws and regulations in the territory where the stream is provided. The sources cited here do not establish which Indian broadcasting, licensing, or registration rules apply to a particular operator or playlist. Check qualified India-specific guidance for your circumstances rather than assuming a particular license is or is not required.

Plan around archives and rewind
YouTube Help says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, while a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. DVR rewind may also be limited or unavailable after 12 hours. Do not promise viewers a complete archive or uninterrupted rewind for a 24/7 broadcast. Keep local recordings if preserving the program matters, and test how the selected encoder and channel handle restarts and recording. See YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance and DVR guidance.
Troubleshoot common setup failures
- The stream stays at “No signal.” Check that broadcasting has started, the phone is online, and the complete publish URL was pasted into the correct field. Verify that the selected protocol matches the URL.
- The dashboard rejects the stream or reports a connection issue. Re-copy the URL using Publish instead of retyping it, and confirm the destination’s stream key is current. For a mobile connection, test SRT as the cited IRL Pro guide recommends for less stable networks.
- Video bitrate fluctuates or drops. Test sustained upload at the actual broadcast location and lower the app’s settings within the plan cap if the connection cannot sustain them. IRL Pro does not bond multiple connections, so another network path is not automatically combined.
- A playlist stops or fails to restart. Check the encoder’s playlist and loop configuration, service monitoring, and restart settings. This is an encoder/provider issue, not a documented IRL Pro playlist feature.
- YouTube interrupts the news feed. Review copyright notices and Content ID status, stop unlicensed material, and resolve permissions or allowlisting with the rights owner. Do not repeatedly restart a stream containing material you are not authorized to use.
- The live stream has no complete archive. Streams beyond YouTube’s 12-hour archive guidance may not be captured. Preserve a local recording and split or restart streams only after testing the impact on viewers and the channel’s schedule.
