You can keep a Marathi children’s story schedule live on YouTube by sending a prepared, rights-cleared story presentation through an encoder and rotating through shorter broadcasts. First verify your channel and its live-streaming eligibility, set the audience accurately as Made for Kids when the content is directed to children, and plan for YouTube’s warning that streams longer than 12 hours may not be archived at all. A 24/7 schedule is not a guarantee that one broadcast will run continuously or be preserved.
What “24/7” means on YouTube
For a story channel, a 24/7 schedule means keeping programming available around the clock. It does not mean relying on one broadcast to run forever. YouTube says a livestream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all, so plan shorter sessions if you want an archive and keep a separate local recording. See YouTube’s archive guidance.
For the do-it-yourself approach below, an encoder sends your prepared video and audio to YouTube. You control playback, narration, and any overlays, but the computer, network connection, and encoder need to keep working, and someone should be able to respond if they fail. YouTube describes encoder streaming in its live-streaming setup guidance.

Confirm that the channel can go live
YouTube requires a verified channel and no live-streaming restrictions during the preceding 90 days. Check eligibility before preparing a schedule; verification or a restriction can prevent the broadcast from starting. YouTube’s Get started with live streaming page explains the current requirements and available methods.

Set the audience honestly
A channel streaming stories intended for children is likely to have Made for Kids content. YouTube’s factors include the intended audience, subject matter, language, and whether the content includes stories or poems for children. The creator is responsible for the audience designation; YouTube cautions against relying on automated classification. Set the designation in Live Control Room, not Classic live-streaming tools. See YouTube’s Made for Kids guidance and audience-setting instructions.
Made for Kids changes how the stream can work: YouTube lists live chat and live chat donations, comments, notifications, personalized advertising, Super Chat, and Super Stickers among the unavailable features. Design the schedule and any viewer interaction so they do not depend on these tools. Details are in Watching Made for Kids content.

Clear rights for every part of the story presentation
Before streaming, verify that you have permission for the story text, any Marathi translation or adaptation, narration or performance, music, illustrations, and recording. These may involve separate rights. India’s Copyright Act covers literary, dramatic, musical, artistic, film, and sound-recording works, and addresses communication to the public. Its exceptions are specific; a provision for reciting reasonable extracts is not blanket permission to stream a complete story. Consult the Copyright Act, 1957, Chapter I and Chapter XI. This is a practical summary, not legal advice.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it identifies material, a placeholder may replace the stream; if the material remains, YouTube may temporarily interrupt or terminate the broadcast. A licence does not necessarily prevent this: for licensed material, YouTube advises asking the rights holder to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. See Copyright issues with live streams.

Set up the livestream in YouTube Studio
- Open Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, choose Create → Go live. Choose the encoder option for a prepared visual loop and external audio or video. Confirm the channel can go live before scheduling.
- Enter the event details. Add the stream’s title and other requested information, choose its privacy setting, and set the schedule if you are announcing a start time. Under Audience, select the accurate Made for Kids setting. Do not assume a channel-level default has made this choice correctly for the event.
- Connect the encoder. In Live Control Room, obtain the stream connection details and enter them in your chosen encoder. Treat the stream key as a password: do not include it in a public post, screenshot, or shared setup document. YouTube’s interface and encoder options can change, so follow the current on-screen connection instructions.
- Load and preview the program. Put the authorized story video, narration, and any permitted visuals into the encoder’s playback or scene setup. Start the encoder early enough to inspect YouTube’s preview and confirm that the expected video and audio arrive. YouTube advises configuring an encoder at least two hours before a scheduled event and starting it at least 15 minutes beforehand; these are operational tips, not a continuity guarantee. See YouTube live streaming tips.
- Start the event and verify it from the viewer side. Confirm that Live Control Room reports the stream as live and that playback is visible and audible on YouTube. Check the stream’s privacy and audience setting before sharing it with viewers.
Configure the encoder without guessing at quality settings
Use an encoder compatible with YouTube and check its current recommendations alongside the video you are actually sending. Match the output resolution and frame rate to the prepared source; choose a bitrate suitable for that output and the available upload connection; and use the keyframe interval required by YouTube’s current encoder guidance. The specific numeric settings depend on the source and current platform guidance; do not copy an arbitrary bitrate or keyframe value from an unrelated video. YouTube’s live streaming tips are the place to check before launch.
- Video: Confirm the selected file, resolution, frame rate, and any overlays are as intended. A static image or loop should not accidentally replace the story video.
- Audio: Listen to narration and music in the preview. Check for clipping, silence, uneven levels, or a delay between speech and picture. A microphone can be useful when recording narration, but it is not mandatory if an existing device produces adequate audio.
- Network: Test the upload connection while the encoder is sending at the selected settings. A connection that cannot sustain the outgoing stream can cause dropped frames or disconnections; a speed test by itself does not prove a long run will be stable.
- Local recording: If you need a copy independent of YouTube’s archive, enable a local recording and confirm that the file is growing and can be played. Keep enough storage for the intended session.
Plan session changes and local archives
Keep each YouTube broadcast under 12 hours if you need its YouTube archive, because YouTube says longer streams may not be captured at all. Schedule a handoff between shorter sessions rather than making the entire day depend on one broadcast. Allow a buffer for stopping one session, checking the next event, and reconnecting the encoder; a break in the schedule may still occur, so do not promise uninterrupted viewing.

- PLUG AND PLAY - No discs and software needed, just plug it in and start recording, the perfect external microphone for computer kit for content creators and remote workers
For an around-the-clock schedule, plan who will monitor the encoder and what happens if the computer, connection, or playback fails. Keep separate local recordings when preservation matters, and check their integrity rather than assuming that an encoder or platform archive has saved a usable copy. YouTube’s operational tips also recommend testing encoder failover and verifying local archive files.
Troubleshoot common launch and continuity problems
- You cannot start a live broadcast: Check channel verification and whether a live-streaming restriction applies from the preceding 90 days. Resolve the eligibility issue before troubleshooting the encoder.
- Live Control Room shows no incoming signal: Check that the encoder is running, that its connection details match the current event, and that the correct source is selected. Recheck the stream key in private; never share it to request help publicly.
- The preview is blank, frozen, or shows the wrong story: Confirm the encoder’s active scene or playlist, source file, and playback status. Stop and reload the intended source if needed, then verify the preview before the event is public.
- Viewers report silence or poor audio: Check the encoder’s selected audio input, mute state, levels, and preview. Listen to the stream from YouTube as well as monitoring the local encoder output.
- The broadcast disconnects or stutters: Check encoder status and upload continuity, then reconnect using the active event’s details. Test any failover plan before relying on it for a scheduled handoff; no setup guarantees uninterrupted service.
- A live stream is interrupted over third-party content: Review the material YouTube identified. If you have a licence, contact the rights holder about adding the channel to its Content ID allowlist, as YouTube advises. A licence alone may not stop a live interruption.
- The YouTube archive is missing: If the individual broadcast exceeded 12 hours, YouTube says it may not have been captured. Use shorter sessions and verify a separate local recording for future broadcasts.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is the cloud option for playing uploaded recordings as a YouTube livestream: upload the story video or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It keeps the stream running without a computer or home connection staying on, automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream, and sends the uploaded video as made at any quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot. The first day is free with no card. The monthly option is $9.99 per month. In India, UPI and cards are supported. See StreamNeo, then start the free first day.
