For a YouTube livestream from PRISM Live Studio on a mobile connection that may change, start at 720p, 30 fps, with Adaptive Bitrate Publish (ABP) on. If PRISM lets you set a manual or maximum bitrate, use its general 720p reference of 4,000 kbps only when your upload can sustain it. These are PRISM’s general recommendations—not an India-specific preset or a guarantee of stable streaming.
If by “video loop” you mean replaying a playlist continuously, note that PRISM’s published mobile instructions explain how to create and play a video playlist but do not document an automatic repeat setting. A playlist is not proof of looping.
Choose a starting quality for your connection
Resolution, frame rate, and bitrate affect picture detail, the bandwidth the stream needs, and the work your phone must do. PRISM recommends leaving ABP on for novice mobile streamers: it adapts to changing network conditions, which can help transmission when bandwidth falls, though the picture may lose quality and a weak connection can still result in poor streaming.

PRISM’s FAQ gives broader general ranges of 1–2 Mbps for 360p, 2–4 Mbps for 720p, and 4–6 Mbps for 1080p. Its mobile stability guidance lists estimated bandwidth ranges when ABP is off:

PRISM advises having more network bandwidth than the selected stream needs and recommends at least twice the specified bandwidth for higher-quality streaming. These are published product guidelines, not measurements of Indian mobile networks. Test the actual upload connection you plan to use rather than assuming a particular carrier, location, or time will sustain a preset.
Set up the stream and check encoding options
PRISM’s mobile setup overview describes this general sequence: select a mode, tap Ready, open the live-stream summary, enter and save the required information, then press Go Live. PRISM also provides a mobile YouTube streaming guide. Before going live, review the app’s video-quality or encoding controls for resolution, bitrate, frame rate, and ABP. Those controls determine the stream quality, but their exact menu path and labels can vary by app version; confirm them in the version installed on your phone rather than relying on an unverified path.

- Select a mode and prepare the stream. Use PRISM’s mobile setup flow, then open the live-stream summary and enter and save the required stream information.
- Set a conservative starting profile. Choose 720p and 30 fps, and enable ABP. If a manual or maximum bitrate is available, use 4,000 kbps only if your connection can sustain it; otherwise reduce the target or let ABP adapt.
- Check the phone during a trial. Watch for unstable transmission, dropped frames, or unusual heat, especially during a long broadcast. PRISM warns that higher resolution and frame rate strain phones and that long high-resolution broadcasts can cause heating.
- Go live and adjust in small steps. If the stream is stable and the phone handles encoding comfortably, try 1080p at 30 fps with PRISM’s 6,000 kbps quality reference. If it becomes unstable, return to 720p or lower the frame rate gradually.
For keyframes, PRISM’s FAQ recommends a 1–2 second interval. Use that only if the app exposes a keyframe setting; do not assume every mobile mode makes it configurable.

Plan for mobile viewers in India
No single resolution is established as best for India: PRISM’s published recommendations are general, and they do not provide Indian carrier measurements, upload-speed distributions, or viewer data-use figures. A creator should balance the detail sent by the phone against the real upload stability and the audience’s data constraints.

The creator’s outgoing settings also do not establish what resolution every YouTube viewer will receive. Do not promise that selecting 1080p guarantees each person watching on mobile will see 1080p.

- Open Playlist in My Studio.
- Create a Video playlist and select the videos to include.
- Create the playlist. You can adjust the order, seek to a particular position, and reuse saved playlists from My Studio.
- Add the playback to a live stream. PRISM’s guide says you can mute the microphone when you want only playback audio included.
The instructions do not establish that the playlist repeats automatically, describe what happens at the end, or show a repeat toggle. Check the current app for a repeat control before relying on continuous playback; without confirmation, treat the documented feature as playlist playback, not a verified loop. PRISM also says that music, video, music playlist, video playlist, and image playlist cannot be used together, and that only one of those play features can be used at a time in the listed mobile modes.
Troubleshoot an unstable stream
- Transmission struggles or the picture degrades: Keep ABP on if bandwidth is changing. If instability persists, lower resolution or frame rate gradually; PRISM says 720p is typically more stable than 1080p under similar conditions.
- The phone heats up or frames drop: Reduce resolution or frame rate. High-resolution, high-frame-rate encoding adds phone workload, and long high-resolution broadcasts can cause heating.
- 1080p will not remain stable: Step back to 720p at 30 fps before trying other changes. The 6,000 kbps figure is a quality-oriented reference, not a promise that a mobile upload can sustain it.
- A playlist stops at the end: PRISM’s cited mobile instructions do not verify automatic repeat behavior. Do not assume looping; check the installed app for an explicit repeat control or use a workflow whose repeat behavior is documented.
- Playback audio or another media feature is missing: Check whether another listed playback feature is active. PRISM documents that only one of the listed music, video, or image play features can be used at a time in the relevant mobile modes.
