In Safari, take a screenshot, tap its thumbnail, choose Full Page, then save the capture to Photos as an image or to Files as a PDF. The option appears in the screenshot editor after you capture the page.
Take a full-page screenshot in Safari
- Open the webpage in Safari and take a screenshot. On an iPhone with Face ID, quickly press and release the Side button and Volume Up button together. On an iPhone with a Home button, quickly press and release the Side button and Home button together.
- Tap the screenshot thumbnail that appears, then tap Full Page. The preview on the right shows the longer capture; drag it to inspect different parts of the page.
- To keep only part of the page, use the crop control and adjust the crop handles.
- Choose how to save it: select Save to Photos for an image, or Save PDF to Files and choose a location for a PDF.
Apple’s iPhone User Guide describes the feature as capturing content beyond the screen, including an entire Safari webpage. The exact placement of controls may vary with the iOS version and Safari interface.

If you want to annotate the webpage
For markup rather than a full-page screenshot, Apple documents a separate Safari workflow: open the page, use the page menu or Share control, choose Markup, annotate, then save the file. The menu label depends on Safari’s tab layout and interface version. See Apple’s instructions for annotating and saving a webpage as a PDF.
If the Full Page option is missing
- Make sure you opened the webpage in Safari and tapped the screenshot thumbnail to open its editor.
- Look for Full Page in the screenshot editor. Apple documents it for capturing content beyond the screen, such as a Safari webpage; control placement can vary by iOS version.
- If you only need a short section, use the crop control and handles in the editor instead.
- You can also take a screenshot with Siri, AssistiveTouch, or Back Tap, which Apple lists as alternatives to the hardware button shortcut. Then open the screenshot editor and look for Full Page.
