To capture an Amazon.in exchange offer, open the exact product and variation, set your delivery location if prompted, reveal any exchange details Amazon offers for that listing, and take a screenshot that shows the product identity and offer together. Exchange offers are not available on every product, and Amazon’s live controls can vary; check the saved image to make sure the details are readable.
Before you take the screenshot
Amazon India describes the prominent offer area on a product detail page as the “Offer Display,” but that seller-side term does not identify a universal customer-facing exchange control. Amazon’s sale materials describe exchange benefits for selected products, not every listing or shopper. For example, its 2026 sale announcement referred to exchange offers on select smartphones; that is a dated, product-specific example, not a standing offer for all products. Amazon India’s seller guide and sale announcement provide context.
- Open the product page on Amazon.in in the Amazon Shopping app or a regular browser.
- Confirm that it is the intended product and variation, such as the correct model, storage, or color.
- If Amazon asks for a delivery location, set the location relevant to the offer you want to document. The page may show different details depending on the context.
Find and show the exchange information
Scroll through the product page and look for an exchange or old-device trade-in option. Amazon’s current India customer-facing control location and exact labels are not established, so do not expect one fixed position or sequence. The option appears only when Amazon shows it for that item.
If the page presents choices for an old device, model, or condition, make the applicable selections before capturing the displayed estimate. Include the amount shown and, when visible, the eligible old device or condition and the product it applies to. Do not treat an estimate as a guaranteed final exchange value: the available official material does not establish India-specific valuation rules or whether a displayed amount can change after inspection.

Take a legible screenshot
- Position the page so the product name or model and the exchange text or value are both visible and readable.
- Use your device’s native screenshot function. On most phones, the shortcut uses the power and volume buttons; the exact method depends on the device. In a browser on a computer, use its built-in screenshot feature or the operating system’s screen-capture tool.
- Open the saved image and inspect it. Confirm that the product identity, offer details, and any relevant selection are legible—not hidden below the fold, covered by a prompt, or cut off.
- If those details will not fit legibly in one frame, take consecutive screenshots with enough overlapping page context to make clear they belong to the same listing.
A screenshot records what the page showed at capture time; it does not establish that the offer remains available later. Amazon’s generic “Exchange an Item” help page describes exchanges after purchase through Your Orders. That is a separate workflow from viewing a pre-purchase exchange offer on a product page.

For a straightforward page capture, ScreenshotNeo accepts one GET request with a URL and can return a screenshot or PDF. Its clean-shot options accept consent banners and remove more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; you can turn off each step. Only clean shots are billed: bot checks or CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and response headers identify the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server lets AI agents use take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf. Amazon pages may vary or require interactive selections, so check the returned capture to confirm the exchange details are present.
Example request using cURL (replace the URL with the Amazon.in product page):
