To schedule hourly Visualping checks, open the monitor in your dashboard and choose an hourly interval from its frequency dropdown. Use the separate Schedule setting only if you also want to limit the days or hours when checks may run. Visualping documents a fastest check frequency of every two minutes, so hourly checks are within its published capability; it does not document an exact minute when each hourly check will run.
Set the monitor to check hourly

Open the monitor from the Visualping dashboard.

Open its frequency dropdown and select an hourly interval.

Save the monitor if the interface prompts you to do so.

Check the dashboard for the monitor’s status and next checks.

Visualping’s help center says the maximum check frequency is every two minutes, meaning hourly checks are within the published capability. The documentation establishes a frequency setting, not exact wall-clock execution, so do not assume a check will run at the same minute every hour. The available dropdown choices may depend on the account; current exact choices are not established in the reviewed documentation. Visualping frequency instructions (help article dated January 2025).
Use Advanced Scheduling to restrict when checks can run
Frequency and Advanced Scheduling are separate controls. Frequency sets how often Visualping checks; the schedule limits the days and daily time window in which checks are allowed. To add that restriction, open the monitor’s settings panel and select Schedule. Choose active days and a timeframe, then save if prompted.

The current help article describes one time block per day, with the same time range applying to each selected day.

The schedule uses the workspace timezone. Business users can set that timezone in Workspace Settings; plans without an explicit workspace timezone inherit the user’s timezone. Check the applicable timezone before interpreting the schedule as local clock time.

Choose an interval with check usage in mind
Visualping describes check consumption as frequency multiplied by the number of pages monitored. A shorter interval across many pages can therefore use checks faster than an hourly cadence across a small set. Its Health Dashboard estimates monthly use under current schedules; consult it when deciding whether the cadence fits your usage. Visualping Health Dashboard announcement.

Choose cadence according to how quickly you need to notice a change and how many pages you are monitoring. Visualping’s every-two-minutes capability is a product limit, not a recommendation to check every page that often.
What to expect after setup
Visualping’s general workflow is to add a webpage, select the page or element to monitor, describe the changes of interest, choose a check frequency, and review detected changes in the dashboard or notifications. Cloud monitors continue running when your computer or browser is off. Local monitoring requires Chrome to remain open. Visualping getting-started instructions.

Troubleshooting

Hourly is not an option in the dropdown: The reviewed documentation does not establish identical dropdown choices for every account. Check the monitor’s current settings and Visualping’s frequency help page for account-specific guidance rather than assuming an unavailable choice.

Checks run outside the hours you expected: Confirm that Advanced Scheduling is configured separately from frequency and verify the workspace timezone—or your user timezone if the plan has no explicit workspace timezone.

You expected a check at a precise minute: The documentation specifies a frequency, not exact wall-clock execution. Check the dashboard’s status and next-check information rather than relying on a precise minute.

Checks are being consumed faster than expected: Review the number of monitored pages and their frequencies. Visualping’s Health Dashboard estimates monthly usage under current schedules.

Monitoring stops when you close your browser: Cloud monitors continue while your computer is off; local monitoring requires Chrome to stay open. Check which monitoring mode you configured.
