Schedule each bhajan or aarti video in YouTube Studio for its intended release time, then add it to a separate morning or evening playlist. A playlist organizes videos; it does not schedule them to publish. The video remains private until its scheduled release.
How to schedule bhajan and aarti videos
- Prepare the video. YouTube’s upload flow accepts video files, not audio files alone. If you have only an audio recording, first make a supported video file—for example, by pairing the audio with suitable visuals. See YouTube’s computer upload instructions.
- Upload in YouTube Studio. Open YouTube Studio, select Create, then Upload videos, and choose the prepared file. Complete the upload details and checks.
- Add it to the right playlist. In the upload details, use the playlist selector to add the video to an existing playlist or create one. Use clear names such as “Morning Bhajans” and “Evening Aarti.” Choose based on the content, not merely the planned release time. The playlist groups the video; it does not control when it becomes public.
- Set publication timing. In the video’s Visibility options, choose Schedule, select the intended date, time, and time zone, then select Schedule. YouTube says the video stays private until the scheduled release. Follow the current schedule video publish time instructions if the interface differs.
- Repeat for each video. Schedule every upload separately, and check the scheduled dates and times in Studio before announcing the cadence to viewers.
Choose the right time zone and displayed date
Select the time zone that matches the release time you intend. YouTube notes that the publication date shown on the watch page is based on Pacific Standard Time. For a schedule set in a time zone ahead of PST, the date visible in Studio can differ from the date shown on the watch page. If the calendar date itself matters to your audience, verify the scheduled release and how the date is displayed rather than assuming both views use the same local date.
Keep morning and evening playlists clear
Use ordinary playlists for straightforward organization
Create separate playlists for the two listening routines and add each video to the appropriate one. Review playlist titles, descriptions, and entries so they accurately describe what viewers will find. YouTube’s Playlists policy applies to playlists as collections too; misleading metadata or a problematic collection can raise policy concerns even when individual videos do not independently violate policy.
Use a series playlist only when its formal treatment is useful
YouTube’s series playlist feature is intended for videos that should be watched together as an official set. Its requirements are stricter than those for an ordinary playlist: the channel must be verified, a video can appear in only one series playlist, and the playlist can contain only videos the creator owns and has rights to use. See YouTube’s series playlist guidance. For most morning and evening collections, ordinary playlists are enough.

Pick a sustainable release rhythm
Choose times and a cadence you can maintain, then tell viewers when to expect new uploads. YouTube recommends a consistent, sustainable upload schedule and using scheduling tools; its guidance does not establish one universally best morning or evening clock time. See YouTube’s upload schedule tips.
When a Premiere or live stream makes more sense

Set up a Premiere for a shared viewing event
Choose the Premiere option during the upload workflow if a shared start, reminders, and interaction suit the audience. It is optional; ordinary scheduled publication does not require a Premiere. Details are in YouTube’s Premiere instructions.

Schedule an actual live devotional broadcast separately
For a live broadcast, use YouTube’s live-stream scheduling guidance rather than treating a playlist as a scheduled stream. YouTube recommends communicating the schedule and any changes, promoting an event ahead of time, and organizing stream archives and highlights into playlists. A devotional subject, a traditional composition, or a scheduled release does not by itself establish that you may use a particular recording. Check the rights for the specific audio and video you plan to upload, including any performance or recording, and use material you own or are authorized to publish. The rights status depends on the particular recording; scheduling and playlist settings do not grant permission.

Troubleshooting common scheduling issues
- The video is not in the morning or evening playlist. Playlist membership is separate from publication timing. Edit the video’s details in Studio and add it to the intended playlist.
- The video did not become public at the expected local time. Recheck the scheduled date, time, and selected time zone in Studio. Remember that YouTube’s watch-page publication date is based on PST and may differ from the Studio date in time zones ahead of it.
- You have an audio file but cannot upload it as a video. Prepare a video file that incorporates the audio; YouTube’s computer upload flow does not accept an audio-only file as a video upload.
- You cannot add a video to a second official series playlist. YouTube allows a video in only one series playlist. Use a regular playlist for the other collection, or choose which series the video belongs to.
- A playlist or title could be misleading. Make the title and description accurately reflect the actual contents, and review the collection under YouTube’s playlist rules.
