To schedule separate morning and evening playlist streams in Gyre, create a stream for each playlist, add each stream to Gyre’s Streams Scheduler, and set its start time, end time, or both. Publish the viewer-facing times in India Standard Time (IST, UTC+05:30), but first verify how the time appears in your Gyre account: its published guidance does not establish whether the scheduler uses IST or automatically converts time zones.
Before you build the schedule
Confirm channel access and eligibility
Gyre’s current setup guidance says the Google Account used for channel authorization must own the YouTube channel. The channel must be verified, live streaming must be enabled, and it must not have had a live-streaming restriction during the preceding 90 days. Gyre also describes manual stream-key setup as an alternative for creators who need it. Check your channel’s status before preparing playlists or scheduling broadcasts. See Gyre’s setup guidance.
Choose authorization or manual stream-key setup
Channel authorization is Gyre’s streamlined route. Manual stream-key setup may suit operators who need more control over YouTube Studio configuration. Choose based on whether you can authorize the Google Account that owns the channel and how you want to manage the stream connection and metadata. These are Gyre-described options; confirm the current workflow and capabilities in your account.
Make distinct morning and evening playlists
Choose themes and playback order
Create a morning playlist and an evening playlist that fit the different viewing occasions. Gyre says files play in the order selected and the playlist starts again from the beginning after the final file. Check the order before scheduling so the opening video suits the time block.

Prepare enough material for the stream
Gyre recommends at least one hour of material and ideally three to five hours. That is vendor advice, not a universal requirement or a proven threshold for audience retention. Consider how frequently your videos will repeat during the planned broadcast and whether repetition fits your channel’s content.
Keep rights in mind: use videos you own or have permission to stream. YouTube’s Series playlists feature is separate from Gyre’s playlist scheduler; it is for creator-owned videos that are rights-cleared and intended to be watched together.

Create streams and schedule each one in Gyre
- Create the morning stream. In Gyre, create a stream and select the prepared morning playlist. Review its title, description, and other stream details before saving.
- Create the evening stream. Repeat the process with the evening playlist and its appropriate stream details. Gyre treats each stream as its own scheduler entry.
- Open Streams Scheduler. Add the morning stream to the scheduler, then set a start time, end time, or both for the intended broadcast window.
- Add the evening entry. Select the evening stream and set its own start time, end time, or both. The scheduler offers month, week, and day views.
- Review the timeline. Check that the two entries show the intended streams and do not overlap unintentionally. Gyre says scheduled entries can be edited or removed.
Gyre’s documentation lists the scheduler and playlists on the free trial, Start+, and PRO+ plans, and says the Start plan does not include the scheduler. Plan details can change, so verify the current plan inclusions before subscribing. See Gyre’s scheduler and playlist guidance.

Verify the schedule against India time
Write the public schedule as IST (UTC+05:30), including the date where it helps avoid ambiguity. The available Gyre guidance does not specify the scheduler’s internal time zone or confirm automatic conversion to IST; do not assume the time shown in the account is India time.

- Compare the time displayed in Gyre with the intended IST date and time.
- Confirm when the broadcast actually starts, then adjust any future entries as needed.
- Repeat the check after account or interface changes before relying on unattended launches.
Use your channel’s audience analytics to choose exact morning and evening hours. There is no universally established best time for Indian channels. YouTube recommends choosing a consistent, sustainable schedule and communicating changes to viewers; it suggests showing the schedule on the channel banner.
