You can schedule a YouTube live event for a Hindi esports replay, but scheduling alone will not play or rotate the video. Create the event in YouTube Studio, then connect an encoder or cloud workflow that supplies the replay feed and handles file order or looping. Test it before the event, and secure permission for every part of the footage and audio.
What YouTube scheduling does—and what it does not do
A scheduled stream creates a viewer-facing event that you can configure and promote in advance; viewers may also set reminders. It does not provide the prerecorded video feed. At showtime, an encoder must connect to the event and send the replay before you can go live. YouTube’s scheduled-stream instructions describe that encoder step.
YouTube’s cited scheduling workflow does not establish a built-in control for automatically rotating replay files. To run several videos in sequence or loop them, use an encoder or another workflow that can play those files in the intended order. Test the exact behavior; scheduling multiple events does not itself create a continuous playlist.
Schedule and run a Hindi esports replay
- Enable live streaming. Confirm live streaming is available on the channel. YouTube says first-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so do not leave this check until event day. YouTube’s encoder setup guidance covers activation.
- Create the event. In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go live → Manage → Schedule stream. Reuse settings or create a new event, then enter its title and metadata for the intended Hindi-speaking audience. Choose visibility and share the scheduled URL if you want to promote it.
- Choose a playback workflow. YouTube supports software encoders and dedicated hardware encoders. Select one that can play the replay files in order, maintain the feed for the planned duration, and handle any transitions or looping you need. Hardware is optional; YouTube’s guide recommends professional-grade hardware for higher-production-value events, not as a requirement for a replay.
- Connect the encoder securely. Copy the event’s stream URL and stream key into the encoder. The key identifies where to send the feed and lets YouTube accept it; treat it like a password. Do not show it in public screenshots, overlays, or a screen share. See Manage live stream settings.
- Test the complete rotation. Before announcing the stream, check the video order, transitions, audio levels, and whether the encoder continues into the next file or loops as expected. A private or unlisted test can reveal gaps and playback failures without relying on a public event.
- Start at showtime. Start the encoder, open the Live Control Room, and confirm the preview and stream health before going live. If you intend to use automatic start or stop, verify those settings for the event instead of assuming they are enabled. YouTube’s live-streaming tips recommend testing and monitoring audio, video, and stream health.
- Plan the archive. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its cited help instructions do not promise automatic archiving for sessions exceeding 12 hours. If you need a replay archive, keep the session below that threshold or independently verify the current long-stream behavior before relying on it.
Use settings that fit your replay and connection
YouTube recommends RTMPS for live ingestion and publishes encoder recommendations by codec, resolution, and frame rate. For example, its table lists H.264 at 1080p and 60 fps with a 6 Mbps minimum and 17 Mbps recommended bitrate. These are YouTube ingest recommendations, not a guarantee of stable delivery on every connection or encoder. Check the current encoder settings and live-streaming tips, then test upload capacity and stream health with your actual setup.

- Ready for Upgrades – Designed with tool-less access, easily swap out components, ensuring future-proof performance for years to come.
Choose settings the source can sustain, and keep the encoder’s output, frame rate, and event expectations aligned. Watch the preview and health indicators during testing; a strong nominal bitrate cannot compensate for an unstable upload or a playback source that stops between files.
Recurring events: what the YouTube API supports
For a programmed schedule of separate events, the YouTube Live Streaming API distinguishes a liveBroadcast (the viewer-facing event) from a liveStream (the audio-video feed). YouTube documents a common workflow in which one stream is bound to multiple scheduled broadcasts, with each broadcast moved to testing or live when its event occurs. That supports recurring event scheduling; it does not mean YouTube Studio will select the next replay file on your behalf. See the API getting-started guide and Live Streaming API reference.

Get rights before rebroadcasting esports footage
A replay being available online does not establish permission to rebroadcast it. A tournament feed can combine game footage, commentary, music, graphics, interviews, and sponsor material, potentially controlled by different rights holders. Check the rules and permissions for the actual footage, audio, territory, and use before scheduling the stream.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteYouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match may cause a placeholder to replace the stream, an interruption, or termination. Even if you have a license, YouTube warns that the rights owner may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. An archived live stream may also receive a Content ID claim after the broadcast. Review YouTube’s copyright guidance for live streams and obtain any necessary permissions and allowlisting in advance.

Or let it run in the cloud
If you want a prerecorded YouTube stream to continue without leaving an encoder computer running at home, StreamNeo is a cloud option: upload the recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops uploaded videos from the cloud, not a camera feed. Nothing has to stay on at home; any quality up to 4K 60fps streams as uploaded at one flat price per slot; and the service automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. See StreamNeo, then start the free first day.

Troubleshoot common problems
- The event page exists, but no video appears: Scheduling does not supply the feed. Start the encoder with the correct event stream URL and key, then check the Live Control Room preview.
- The wrong event receives the feed: Verify the encoder is using the URL and key for the scheduled event you intend to run. Keep keys private and replace or reset exposed credentials through the relevant YouTube controls.
- The replay stops between files or fails to loop: The rotation is controlled by the playback workflow, not the schedule page. Check that the encoder supports the file order and loop behavior you need, then test the complete sequence privately or unlisted.
- The preview or stream health is poor: Check the source playback, audio/video output, upload capacity, and encoder settings. Compare the encode with YouTube’s current recommendations and run another test before the public event.
- A scheduled event does not start automatically: Confirm the encoder is connected and sending video, and inspect the event’s automatic start/stop settings rather than assuming they are active.
- The stream is interrupted or replaced: A third-party content match may trigger YouTube action. Resolve rights and any required Content ID allowlisting with the relevant owner; do not assume a license alone prevents an interruption.
- A long stream is missing an archive: YouTube’s cited automatic-archive guidance applies to streams under 12 hours. If an archive matters, plan a shorter session or verify current long-stream handling before broadcast.
