To run aarti videos continuously on YouTube, schedule a Live event in YouTube Studio only when you want a one-time or separately timed broadcast. Studio creates the event page; an encoder or cloud streaming service must still send the video, and someone or something must start and manage the feed. For a true 24/7 channel, use a persistent encoder or automation workflow that keeps supplying the videos, then plan monitoring, recovery, and archiving separately.

Choose between a scheduled event and a continuous feed

Workflow Best for What it does Main trade-off
YouTube Studio scheduled event plus encoder A one-off aarti program or distinct events at set times Creates a broadcast page that you can promote, share, and let viewers set reminders for. The encoder supplies the video when the event begins. The encoder feed must be started at the event time, and the operator must complete the go-live step. YouTube’s scheduled-stream instructions.
Continuous broadcast plus persistent encoder or automation A channel intended to stay live around the clock Uses a persistent feed. Google’s API documentation models the broadcast and incoming stream as separate resources and describes a continuous broadcast setup. Requires a way to keep content flowing, monitor the stream, and handle interruption and archives. Google’s Live Streaming API documentation.
Cloud service for prerecorded video A creator who wants a service to send uploaded videos without keeping a local computer running StreamNeo is the first option to consider: it keeps a YouTube stream running from the cloud, supports uploaded videos at any quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers the first day free. It is a YouTube-only service for uploaded videos, not a camera livestream. See the cloud workflow below and confirm the plan length that fits your schedule.

Scheduling one event in Studio does not, by itself, schedule a playlist to repeat forever. YouTube’s creator instructions cover scheduled events, while its API documentation describes the separate broadcast and stream resources used in continuous operation; neither establishes an in-Studio repeating playlist scheduler.

Prepare the channel and aarti content

Check live eligibility early

Verify the channel and enable live streaming before the launch date. YouTube says first-time live activation may take up to 24 hours. Its general eligibility guidance also says the streamer must be at least 16 and the channel must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. Check the current status in YouTube Studio and the YouTube live-streaming eligibility guidance before you announce a program.

Confirm rights for the exact recording

Before broadcasting, confirm you have permission for the particular aarti performance, recording, and any music included. Devotional subject matter does not automatically make a recording rights-free. YouTube’s setup guidance does not settle the detailed rights questions for a specific recording, so get permission from the relevant rights holders rather than assuming a general exemption.

Prepare a reliable playlist and archive plan

  • Check that the videos play in the intended order and that the audio is clear and consistent.
  • Test the transition from the end of one video to the next; a gap, abrupt cut, or unintended silent section can make an otherwise live feed appear broken.
  • Keep a separate recording or archive plan if the replay matters. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; that does not establish that an uninterrupted stream longer than 12 hours will be saved as one complete replay.

Schedule a one-time aarti stream in YouTube Studio

  1. Open live control: In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live → Manage → Schedule stream. Create a new stream or reuse prior settings. See YouTube’s scheduling steps.
  2. Set up the event: Enter the event details and schedule time. Scheduling creates a watch page you can share ahead of time; viewers can set reminders.
  3. Connect the encoder: In the encoder, enter the YouTube stream URL and stream key shown for the event. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or share it with people who should not control the feed.
  4. Start and preview: At the planned time, start the encoder feed and wait for the preview to appear in Live Control Room. Confirm the expected video and audio before continuing.
  5. Go live and end cleanly: Select Go live in Live Control Room. When the program is over, stop the encoder and end the stream in YouTube Studio.

A scheduled page is not the same as an active broadcast: YouTube receives the video from the encoder, and the operator must complete the go-live step.

Keep a channel live continuously

What the continuous setup entails

For a 24/7 run, the system sending video must remain able to provide a feed and move through the content without waiting for a person to start each event. Google’s Live Streaming API describes a liveBroadcast linked to a liveStream; this is the developer or automation route for managing broadcast resources. A typical creator can use a persistent encoder or a service that handles the feed instead. Neither Studio’s event scheduler nor the API documentation is an uptime or failover guarantee.

Test the complete operating cycle

  • Run a full test of video, audio levels, and playlist transitions before announcing the channel.
  • Test what happens if the network or encoder is interrupted, including how the feed is restarted and whether the playlist resumes at the expected point.
  • Decide who will monitor the channel and what action they should take if the feed stops.
  • Plan the archive separately if viewers need a replay of a long uninterrupted run.

Account for YouTube’s active-stream limits

YouTube’s current help page lists a limit of 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key. This matters if you operate backup feeds or multiple language or temple streams. These are platform limits, not a recommendation to use all available streams; check YouTube’s current live-streaming guidance before launch because limits can change.

Troubleshoot common launch problems

Symptom Likely cause What to check or do
Live streaming is unavailable The channel has not completed verification or live activation, activation is still pending, or a restriction applies. Check eligibility and activate well ahead of the event; first-time enablement may take up to 24 hours.
The scheduled page exists but no video appears The event is scheduled, but the encoder has not sent its feed or is using the wrong stream URL or key. Confirm the encoder is running and using the event’s YouTube URL and key; wait for the preview in Live Control Room.
Preview appears but viewers cannot see the live event The operator has not completed the go-live step. After confirming the preview, select Go live in Live Control Room.
A 24/7 feed stops or does not resume as expected The encoder, network, or automation stopped supplying video, or the restart procedure was not tested. Check the encoder and connection, restart the feed according to the tested procedure, and confirm the correct playlist position. The YouTube setup documentation does not promise uptime or automatic failover.
A long stream has no complete replay YouTube’s stated automatic archive behavior applies to streams under 12 hours; a single complete replay of a longer uninterrupted stream is not established. Use a separate recording/archive strategy or consider planned segments below the documented threshold if a YouTube replay is important.
