You can’t schedule a YouTube playlist itself to publish at a recurring morning or evening time. Instead, create separate playlists for each slot, then schedule each video individually in YouTube Studio for its intended release date and time.

Plan the morning and evening slots

Choose the local time that makes sense for the viewers you want to reach, and use that time zone consistently when scheduling. Morning and evening are publishing choices to test against your channel’s audience—not universal best times. YouTube’s help pages explain the scheduling and playlist controls, but do not establish an optimal posting hour for bhajan channels.

You might organize devotional recordings into “Morning Bhajans” and “Evening Bhajans,” then decide which individual video belongs in each release slot. Consider the intended devotional context, video type or duration, and your own channel analytics when refining the plan.

Create separate playlists for browsing

  1. In YouTube Studio, choose Create, then New playlist.
  2. Enter a title such as “Morning Bhajans” or “Evening Bhajans.” Add an optional description, select the visibility and arrangement, add the relevant videos, and create the playlist.
  3. Repeat for the other collection. Set visibility to match your audience goal; a private playlist will not work as a public destination for viewers.
  4. Open each playlist and drag videos into the order you want. Playlist organization is separate from video publication scheduling.

YouTube also supports playlist creation and management in its mobile app. Reordering by dragging is unavailable for playlists containing only Shorts.

Schedule each video in YouTube Studio

  1. Upload the bhajan video, or select it in Studio if it is already uploaded.
  2. Open the video’s scheduling controls and choose the intended publication date, time, and time zone.
  3. Save the schedule. The video remains private until the selected release time.
  4. Repeat for every video you want to release in a morning or evening slot. YouTube does not document a control for scheduling the playlist as a whole.

Check the date displayed under the public video if it matters to your plan. YouTube says that the watch-page date is based on Pacific Standard Time (PST), so it can differ from the date shown in Studio for a creator in a time zone ahead of PST.

Optional: use a series playlist for a fixed sequence

A series playlist is intended for an official set of videos that viewers should watch together; it is not required for ordinary morning and evening categories. YouTube requires a verified account, allows each video to appear in only one series playlist, and restricts the playlist to videos uploaded by the channel owner who has the rights. Use one when the videos form a deliberate sequence, not merely because they are devotional.

Optional: schedule an announcement post

If you want to announce a scheduled devotional release, YouTube lets you schedule a Community post by choosing a date, time, and time zone. This schedules the post only; it does not schedule the playlist or replace scheduling each video.

What can interrupt a scheduled release?

YouTube warns that a Community Guidelines strike can prevent a scheduled video from publishing during the penalty period. The video remains private and must be rescheduled after the period ends. Check the video’s status and set a new publication time when you are able to publish again.
