To keep bhajans playing around the clock on YouTube during Navratri, you need more than a scheduled event: you need a continuous stream that repeats prerecorded videos. First confirm that your channel can livestream and that you have rights to every recording and composition. Then choose either an encoder workflow you operate or a service built to loop prerecorded videos. YouTube’s scheduling controls alone do not create a continuous playlist.
Choose the right kind of YouTube stream
A scheduled broadcast and a continuous prerecorded playlist solve different problems. A scheduled broadcast starts an event at a chosen time; a continuous playlist repeatedly sends prerecorded files as the stream’s content. YouTube’s API supports scheduled broadcasts, but its start and end controls do not provide or certify a prerecorded-playlist workflow. Omitting an end time in the API is treated as indefinite, but that still does not supply the video playback system.

Check channel eligibility before building the schedule
YouTube Help says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days to livestream. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance. Resolve eligibility issues before announcing a Navratri broadcast.

Set the audience and observance first
Choose the intended region, year, timezone, language mix, and local observance before setting start times. Navratri dates and daily observances vary by regional calendar, and the sources here do not establish a 2026 schedule or a universal playlist order. Convert the planned start time to the audience’s timezone and state that timezone clearly in the event description and promotion.

Organize only rights-cleared material
Arrange recordings in the order you want them to play and make sure the playlist can run for the intended duration. Keep a record of permissions and the tracks they cover. A bhajan’s devotional subject or an online “free” label does not grant livestream rights. The channel operator is responsible for securing applicable rights to the composition and the sound recording.
Schedule a continuous prerecorded stream
Option 1: Use a service with a prerecorded-video workflow
OneStream Live documents a process to select uploaded or cloud-stored videos, connect YouTube, enter stream details, select a start time and duration, and schedule the stream. Its Help Center says the described feature requires Enterprise and has a maximum duration of 30 days; that is a provider-specific limit, not a YouTube-wide rule. The page was last updated September 3, 2026, so confirm its current plan and duration terms before relying on it: OneStream Live’s 24/7 prerecorded-stream instructions.

- Prepare the files. Upload or place the rights-cleared videos in the storage location the service supports, then select the files for the continuous stream.
- Connect the YouTube channel. Follow the provider’s current account-connection steps and confirm the intended channel is selected.
- Enter broadcast details. Add a clear title and description, choose the start time with the correct timezone, and select a duration within the provider’s current plan limit.
- Review before scheduling. Check the selected videos, playback order, event details, start time, and duration, then schedule and monitor the stream after it begins.
This workflow is an example of a provider-documented option, not a claim that every plan or service works the same way.

An encoder path is appropriate when you can continuously provide the video input and handle setup and monitoring. YouTube supports encoder streaming and recommends professional-grade hardware encoders for higher-production events; dedicated hardware is not a requirement for a prerecorded bhajan stream. - Create or schedule the event in YouTube Studio. Open Live Control Room, create or select the broadcast, and set its title, description, visibility, and scheduled start time.
- Configure the encoder. Use the stream key and server details shown for that event in Live Control Room. Treat the stream key like a password: do not publish it or share it with anyone who should not be able to send video to your channel.
- Provide the video input. Start the encoder with the prepared bhajan playback source. A scheduled YouTube event does not automatically play files; the encoder or playback workflow must supply the video continuously.
- Preview and verify access. Before going live, confirm the preview appears in Live Control Room and check that the event is accessible to the intended audience.
- Start and monitor the event. Check picture and audio at the start and continue monitoring the stream. Keep an operator available to respond if playback, the encoder, or the connection stops.
YouTube’s guidance emphasizes testing the stream in advance, previewing it in Live Control Room, checking event accessibility, and monitoring audio and video. For encoder requirements and configuration, use YouTube’s current guidance rather than assuming a particular bitrate or resolution applies to every source and setup.

Protect the stream from music-rights interruptions
YouTube’s livestream terms say the channel operator represents and warrants that they have the necessary rights to exploit live content on Google services worldwide, including music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers, and other royalty participants. Read the YouTube Terms of Service; this is platform language, not legal advice.
YouTube scans livestreams for third-party content. A match can trigger a warning and placeholder image; if it remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the stream. Even if you have licensed music, the rights owner may need to allowlist your channel. If YouTube archives the stream, Content ID claims may arrive after it ends. See YouTube’s guidance on live-streaming restrictions and its information about Content ID claims on live streams.
- Confirm that permission covers both the composition and the specific recording, as applicable.
- Check the rights territory, duration, and whether livestreaming and archived playback are covered.
- Ask the rights owner whether your channel needs to be allowlisted before the event.
- Keep a backup playlist containing only material with confirmed rights; switching tracks does not cure rights problems for content already used.
Troubleshoot common setup problems

Where encoder hardware fits
A hardware video encoder for YouTube live streaming is an optional equipment path for creators who choose encoder-based production. YouTube recommends professional-grade encoders for higher-production events, but a hardware encoder may be excessive for a simple prerecorded stream. Before choosing a device, verify its current streaming protocols, output resolution, reliability, and compatibility with your playback source and YouTube’s current requirements. No particular model is established here.
Promote a schedule viewers can follow
Publish the start time with its timezone and give viewers enough notice to set reminders. If your playlist or schedule varies by day, state the language, devotional focus, or timing clearly rather than implying a universal Navratri order.
