Open your result on the university’s official portal and use its own marksheet or PDF download if available. If it offers no download, use your browser’s Print command and choose Save as PDF or Print to PDF. Open the saved file afterward and check that the student details and result are complete and readable.
Choose the university’s download before browser printing
Start from the university’s official examination or student portal rather than a third-party result mirror. If the portal provides a marks statement, Statement of Marks/Grades, or Download PDF option, use that first: it is a document supplied by the university, rather than a PDF made from the page as displayed in your browser.
The University of Delhi Examination Branch advised students in a notice dated 15 September 2025 to download their Statement of Marks/Grades from its student portal and save a PDF copy for their records and future reference. The notice names https://slc.uod.ac.in as the portal. This is an example of Delhi University’s process, not a universal portal path or rule for other universities.

Print the displayed result to a PDF
If your university portal has no suitable download, use the browser’s print feature to create a record copy of the displayed result. The exact labels and dialog vary by browser, device, and university portal.

- Open the official result page. Sign in if required and display the result you need to keep.
- Check for a portal download first. If there is no appropriate PDF or marks-statement option, open the browser’s Print command.
- Choose a PDF destination. In the print dialog, select an option such as Save as PDF or Print to PDF, rather than a physical printer.
- Save the file somewhere identifiable. Use a filename and folder that will help you find the record later.
- Open the saved PDF and verify it. Check that the student’s identifying details and result are present, legible, and not clipped across pages.
A Bankura University instruction document describes using a Print action to save a portal document as a PDF on the device. The available instructions do not establish one set of button names or browser steps for every Indian university.
Check compatibility and result availability on your own portal
Follow the university’s own compatibility guidance and timing notices. The University of Delhi results listing names Google Chrome as a compatible browser: Delhi University results. Andhra University’s results portal says, “Please check/download/print your results within 30 days from result issue date.” That is an Andhra University portal-specific window, not a general deadline for Indian university results: Andhra University results portal.

If your result is missing, details appear incorrect, or the portal’s stated window has passed, use the examination office’s published support route. Delhi University directs result queries to its Examination Branch on its results page.
Know what the PDF does—and does not—prove
A browser-produced PDF is a useful documentation copy of what appeared on the page when you saved it. It is not automatically an official transcript, certificate, or verified marksheet. If an employer, admissions office, or another university asks for an official record, check that recipient’s requirements and use the university’s formal document service if required. Acceptance depends on the recipient and the university; it cannot be assumed from the fact that a page was saved as a PDF.
