Why does the TXT file open in the browser?
Browsers can display plain text directly. Firefox explains that the media type (also called content type) configured by the website’s server influences whether a linked file opens or downloads. If that type is configured unexpectedly, the browser may handle the file differently than you expect. Mozilla Support
If the browser shows the text, use the link’s context menu and save it to your device. If that option is missing or the saved file is not right, look for a download control on the website or contact its owner.
