To run recorded online classes continuously on YouTube, create a YouTube Live stream in Studio, connect an encoder using the stream URL and key, and set up the lessons to play in a loop. You can run the encoder on a computer or use a cloud service. Before starting, confirm your channel is eligible, the videos are cleared for rebroadcast, and your chosen setup can recover from interruptions. For a first-time channel activation, YouTube says live streaming may take up to 24 hours to become available.
Before you set up the stream
Check channel eligibility and activation time
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. Its getting-started guidance sets 16 as the minimum age for live streaming. If this is the channel’s first live stream, activation may take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before the planned launch. Clear every item in the playlist
Confirm you have the right to broadcast each lesson and every included element: slides, music, images, clips, and other third-party material. A video being public on YouTube, previously uploaded by you, or available in a playlist does not by itself give you permission to rebroadcast it live.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches, including other live broadcasts. A detected match can cause a placeholder to replace the stream and a warning to appear; if the matched material remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the stream. A copyright or Community Guidelines strike can also end a live stream. If you have licensed third-party content, ask its owner to add your channel to the Content ID allowlist; a license alone may not stop an automated interruption. YouTube’s terms place responsibility on the content provider to hold necessary rights and comply with applicable laws and regulations in the territory where the stream is made available. The platform guidance cited here does not settle India-specific licensing, tax, or broadband requirements; check the rules that apply to your content and operation.
Choose how to keep the lessons playing

Create and connect a YouTube Live stream
- Open Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, go to Create > Go live. Create a new stream or schedule one, then set its title, description, audience, and privacy settings. YouTube’s encoder streaming guidance describes the connection workflow.
- Copy the server URL and stream key. YouTube provides these in the stream’s connection settings. Enter them in the encoder’s corresponding fields. Treat the key like a password: it authorizes an encoder to send video to your stream. Do not publish it or share it with anyone who should not control the broadcast.
- Set up the playlist in your encoder or service. Add only videos you are authorized to stream, put them in the intended order, and enable looping if your chosen tool supports it. Confirm how it behaves at the end of the list and after a failed connection; those controls depend on the encoder or service.
- Check the stream preview and settings. Start the encoder’s output and wait for the preview in Live Control Room. Check that the correct lesson is playing, sound is present, and the stream’s title and privacy are right before making it public or starting the scheduled event.
- Start the broadcast and monitor it. Use the encoder and Live Control Room controls to begin the stream. Keep an eye on the preview and any YouTube warnings, particularly during initial setup.
Plan for an around-the-clock schedule
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That archive guidance does not establish that one uninterrupted stream can run indefinitely. For a continuous classes channel, determine whether your setup runs one stream or cycles through separate streams, what happens when a session ends, and how reconnects are handled. Check the current limits and behavior of your chosen encoder or service rather than assuming an archive policy guarantees a 24/7 session.

A computer-based encoder also depends on the computer, power, and network remaining available. Test the complete playlist and a recovery scenario before relying on it unattended. If the channel is intended for students across time zones, make lesson order and any break or schedule information clear in the stream description.
India-specific considerations
The YouTube workflow and platform requirements above are general; they do not determine whether you have the necessary rights for a particular class, soundtrack, or territory in India. Confirm licensing and other applicable legal or tax obligations for your operation with an appropriate local source. For a computer-based setup, test the actual upload connection and power conditions at the location where it will run; no particular broadband speed requirement is established by the platform guidance cited here.
