You can run a continuous Hindi news playlist on YouTube by creating a live broadcast in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room and connecting an encoder or hosted streaming service that plays and repeats your prerecorded videos. YouTube supplies the broadcast and stream connection; playlist order, looping, transitions and recovery depend on the tool you choose. Before going live, confirm your channel is eligible and that you have the rights to every clip and sound in the playlist.
Before you set up the stream
Check live-stream eligibility
YouTube’s current Help page says a channel must be verified and have had no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days to live stream. It also sets a minimum age of 16. Check YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility and setup guidance before planning a broadcast; restrictions can prevent you from going live even if your encoder is configured correctly.
Prepare a rights-cleared playlist
Gather the news videos you intend to play and verify that you have permission to rebroadcast the footage, audio, graphics and other material in a continuous live stream. A video being publicly available online, including on YouTube, does not by itself grant rebroadcast rights. A license may also be insufficient to avoid an automated interruption if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel in Content ID.

Run an encoder on your own computer
A local software or hardware encoder gives you direct control over playback and the stream, but your computer, encoder, power and internet connection must remain available for the broadcast to continue. Confirm that your chosen encoder can play your files in order, loop them, manage transitions and reconnect or restart after a failure. YouTube documents the encoder workflow, but does not specify how any particular encoder handles playlist looping.

Use a hosted cloud service
A hosted service can play an uploaded playlist without relying on a home computer staying on. Check its current documentation and terms for YouTube support, playlist controls, recovery behavior, monitoring, storage and cost. Vendor descriptions are not independent evidence of reliability, and there is no comparative uptime result established here.

Create the YouTube broadcast and connect your encoder
- Open Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, create or schedule a live broadcast. Enter an accurate title and description, choose the visibility setting, and save the event. YouTube’s full live production guide describes the order of configuring the encoder and setting up the broadcast in Live Control Room.
- Choose and configure your playback tool. Select a local encoder or hosted service. Add the Hindi news videos in the intended order, then set the repeat or loop behavior, transitions and any reconnect or restart options the tool provides. These controls vary by tool; follow its current instructions rather than assuming YouTube controls the playlist.
- Copy the stream details into the encoder. In Live Control Room, retrieve the stream key and other connection details and enter them in your encoder or service according to its documentation. Treat the stream key like a password: do not show it on screen, share it publicly or place it in public notes. If it is exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Start the encoder and check YouTube’s preview. Confirm that the video and audio arrive as expected, then start the broadcast when ready. Test the complete playlist sequence, including the transition from the final item back to the first, before making the event public.
- Monitor the stream. Check both the encoder or hosted service and YouTube Studio while the broadcast is running. Verify playback order, audio, stream status and what happens after a disconnection. A continuous broadcast depends on the playback tool, host, network and recovery process; creating a YouTube event alone does not guarantee uninterrupted playback.
YouTube’s Live Streaming API guide explains the distinction between a broadcast and its associated stream, including a continuing 24/7 broadcast scenario. That model does not provide playlist-looping controls; configure those in your playback tool.

Understand live copyright matching
YouTube says: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” If it identifies third-party material, YouTube may replace the feed with a placeholder and warn you to stop using that content; if it remains, the stream may be interrupted or terminated. YouTube also says a live stream can be terminated after a copyright or Community Guidelines strike. Read YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.
Coordinate with rights holders
If you have permission to use third-party material, ask the owner whether your channel needs to be added to their Content ID allowlist. YouTube says a licensed stream can still be interrupted if the channel is not allowlisted, including where the content is territory-restricted. Confirm that your rights cover the intended continuous live rebroadcast and any territories where viewers may watch.

Do not assume the format is monetizable
YouTube requires live content to follow its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service and may restrict live-streaming access. The cited YouTube guidance does not establish whether a prerecorded Hindi news playlist qualifies for monetization. Do not treat prerecorded or reused content as automatically eligible or promise revenue from the broadcast.
