You can run recorded Kannada coaching classes as a continuous YouTube Live feed by sending them from an encoder to a stream you create in YouTube Studio. The setup is not a guarantee of uninterrupted service, a complete YouTube replay, or monetization: check channel eligibility and content rights, test the full workflow, and plan carefully for streams longer than 12 hours.
Before you start: check channel access and rights
Confirm that live streaming is available
Your YouTube channel must be verified and must not have a live-streaming restriction within the prior 90 days. First-time live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before your planned launch. See YouTube’s Get started with live streaming guidance.
Clear the entire lesson, not just the lecture
Use only recordings and supporting materials you are authorized to broadcast. A coaching class may include third-party music, images, slides, or video clips; permission to use the lecture recording does not necessarily clear those elements. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions put responsibility on the content provider to have the rights needed to use live content on Google services, including applicable music licensing rights, and to follow Community Guidelines and applicable law.
Prepare the Kannada class playlist
Organize files and transitions
Arrange lessons in the order students should watch them. Check that each file plays correctly, that speech is audible, and that the next lesson starts cleanly after the previous one. If lessons are intended to loop, verify the full sequence—including the transition from the last recording back to the first—before making it public.

Keep the original recordings locally. A cloud or encoder feed is not a substitute for a separate backup, and YouTube warns that a live stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured as an archive.
Create the YouTube Live stream and connect an encoder
- Open YouTube Studio and create the stream. In YouTube Studio, open Create → Go live to enter Live Control Room. Create a stream or schedule one, then review its title, description, visibility, and other stream details.
- Copy the connection details. In Live Control Room, copy the stream URL and stream key shown for the stream. YouTube describes encoder streaming in its Go live with an encoder instructions.
- Keep the stream key private. Treat it like a password: anyone with access may be able to send a feed to your stream. Do not show it in a tutorial, screenshot, or public document. If it is exposed, reset it in Live Control Room and replace the old key in your encoder. See Create and manage stream keys.
- Set up the encoder’s playback source. Use software or standalone hardware that can play your prepared class feed and send it to YouTube’s stream URL with the key. The exact playlist and looping controls depend on the encoder you choose; YouTube’s encoder documentation does not establish a universal 24/7 looping configuration or guarantee uninterrupted operation.
- Start a private or unlisted test. Before a public launch, check the Live Control Room preview, speech volume, picture, lesson transitions, and the watch page on both a computer and a phone. Verify that any local recording is being created and that its file is growing as expected.
- Start the broadcast and monitor it. Start sending the feed from the encoder, then start the stream in Live Control Room if the encoder workflow requires it. Keep monitoring picture and sound; a stalled source, encoder failure, network drop, or silent audio can interrupt an otherwise continuous schedule.
YouTube’s Live streaming tips recommend checking the preview, testing applicable failover, verifying local archive files, checking access from channel and watch pages, and continuously monitoring audio and video. A dedicated hardware encoder is optional; YouTube supports software encoders too.

Plan for streams that run longer than 12 hours
Do not rely on one long YouTube archive
YouTube’s Archive live streams guidance says a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. If students need a complete replay on YouTube, do not assume a single 24/7 broadcast will produce one. Consider shorter sessions and check current Studio behavior for your setup; keep a separate local recording as backup.

Archive and DVR are different
Archive availability after the stream and DVR rewind while the stream is live are separate features. YouTube’s Turn on DVR on live streams guidance says DVR may be limited or unavailable for streams longer than 12 hours. If viewers need to rewind during class, test that behavior as well as the eventual replay.

Keep the stream operational
A 24/7 channel needs an operating plan, not just a playlist. Decide who or what process will notice faults and how quickly someone can respond. YouTube’s guidance supports ongoing monitoring, but it does not promise that a particular encoder, connection, or prerecorded schedule will remain online continuously.
- Check the stream preview and watch page regularly for picture, sound, and lesson transitions.
- Maintain local source files and confirm local recordings are valid, rather than assuming a growing file is playable.
- Test encoder failover if your chosen setup supports it, and know how to reconnect after a source, network, or encoder interruption.
- Decide in advance whether to restart a failed broadcast, resume the current lesson, or begin the playlist again; communicate schedule changes to viewers where appropriate.
- Test the viewing experience on mobile as well as desktop, including whether students can access the stream and use the replay features you intend to provide.
Understand rights and monetization separately
Rights clearance and YouTube monetization eligibility are separate questions. Having permission to broadcast a recording does not automatically make a channel or its repeated live programming eligible for monetization.

YouTube’s YouTube channel monetization policies, clarified on July 15, 2025, describe repetitive or mass-produced content as inauthentic content that is ineligible for monetization. Repeating recorded classes in a live format does not by itself establish eligibility. YouTube lists ads, Super Chat and Super Stickers, and channel memberships as possible live-stream revenue features, but availability depends on eligibility and settings, and ads are not guaranteed to serve; see Monetize your live stream.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you would rather not keep an encoder computer and home connection running, StreamNeo keeps a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload the Kannada class recordings, add your YouTube stream key, and go live; the service loops the videos from the cloud.
