You can run a continuous Hindi real-estate project tour from a low-cost PC with OBS, a verified YouTube channel, and a stable upload connection—but the PC must stay on, and its ability to hold the stream depends on the encoder, scene, and network. Start with a simple 720p30 H.264 setup, test it under realistic conditions, and arrange someone to monitor and restore the stream if it fails. If you need the tour to keep running with your computer off, StreamNeo is a cloud alternative described below.
Before you set up the stream
Check YouTube eligibility and activation time
Your channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. YouTube says creators must be at least 16 to livestream. If this is the channel’s first livestream, activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before the planned start. YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility requirements and encoder setup guide explain the current process.
Check the PC without treating minimum requirements as a promise
Note the operating system, CPU, memory, graphics hardware, and encoders available in OBS. OBS lists Windows 10/11 and a DirectX 10.1-compatible GPU among its baseline requirements, but meeting them does not guarantee the machine can stream your chosen resolution, frame rate, and scene. Use OBS’s Auto Configuration Wizard as a starting point, then test the actual tour. See the OBS system requirements.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsA PC with a hardware H.264 encoder can reduce the encoding work left to the CPU, but performance still depends on the entire scene and workload. Do not choose a machine based on a minimum specification alone.

Prepare the real-estate tour and permissions
Decide what viewers will see and hear
Use a property-tour video or other appropriate visual source, a clear project label, and, if useful, a Hindi narration microphone. Narration is optional: a silent tour avoids microphone setup, while live Hindi commentary can orient viewers to the rooms, amenities, and project details. Keep overlays and animation modest on a low-cost PC. Rehearse microphone level and intelligibility; a meter moving in OBS does not by itself mean speech is clear to a viewer.
Secure access and content rights before going live
Get permission from the project owner to show the property and check whether occupants, workers, visitors, or other identifiable people require consent under the rules that apply at the location. Confirm that the camera or prerecorded footage does not expose private areas, security details, or information the owner has not approved for broadcast.

- Open YouTube Studio and create or schedule the live stream. In the live control room, choose the option to stream with an encoder. Follow YouTube’s current prompts for title, visibility, and schedule. Use an unlisted rehearsal if you need to check the full production without presenting it as the public tour.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown by YouTube. In OBS, open Settings > Stream, choose the YouTube service or the custom RTMP option as appropriate, and enter the URL and key. YouTube’s encoder guide describes the stream key as the information that lets YouTube accept the encoder feed.
- Protect the key. Treat it like a password: do not show it in a screen recording, public tutorial, or shared screenshot. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube Studio before continuing.
- Build a simple scene and check the preview. Add the tour source and any approved label; add and test a microphone only if you plan to narrate. Confirm that the intended picture and sound appear in the Live Control Room preview before making the stream public.
YouTube recommends setting up an encoder at least two hours before an event and starting it at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time. For a continuous feed, that lead time is useful for a private or unlisted rehearsal before the public start. See YouTube’s live-streaming tips.

Choose resolution, bitrate, and encoder settings
Use a setting the PC can encode continuously and the connection can upload reliably. YouTube’s published recommendations for H.264 include:
| Output | YouTube-recommended H.264 bitrate | Practical implication |
|---|---|---|
| 720p at 30 fps | 4 Mbps | A reasonable starting point to test on a constrained setup; it is guidance, not a guarantee that a particular PC or connection will sustain it. |
| 1080p at 30 fps | 14 Mbps | Requires more upload headroom and encoding capacity; use it only after testing the actual scene and connection. |
These are YouTube recommendations, not measured performance results. The available upload rate should have reliable headroom above the video bitrate for audio and network variation. A speed test is only a snapshot; test the connection for a sustained period using the actual source, movement, and audio you intend to broadcast.

- What's Inside: 8GB RAM, 500GB Hard Drive, DVD Optical Drive.
- Includes: USB Keyboard and Mouse, Microsoft office 30 days free trail.
- Operating System: Windows 11 Pro 64 Bit-Multi-Language Supports English/Spanish/French.
- Codec: YouTube’s listed RTMP/RTMPS settings accept H.264, H.265/HEVC, or AV1. H.264 is a practical compatibility choice when the encoder supports it.
- Rate control: Set constant bitrate (CBR), YouTube’s recommendation.
- Keyframes: Use a two-second interval; do not exceed four seconds.
- Transport: Choose RTMPS when the encoder offers it. YouTube recommends it as the secure extension to RTMP.
For OBS, the exact encoder names and available controls depend on your hardware and OBS version. Select an available H.264 encoder, set the output resolution and frame rate you have tested, and apply the CBR and keyframe guidance above. Avoid assuming that a setting is sustainable because OBS lets you select it. YouTube’s current encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions page provides the platform recommendations.
Rehearse, start, and monitor the stream
- Run an unlisted test with representative content. Include camera movement or the most demanding parts of the tour, plus narration if used. Watch the OBS preview and YouTube Live Control Room for dropped frames, buffering, audio problems, and stream-health messages.
- Check more than the production PC. Open the watch page on another device and, if possible, check it on mobile. Confirm that the image is legible, the Hindi voice is understandable, and the stream is accessible at the intended visibility.
- Start the encoder ahead of the scheduled public start. YouTube recommends starting it at least 15 minutes early and checking the Live Control Room preview. Do not switch to public until the right feed and audio are present.
- Assign monitoring and recovery. A local OBS setup depends on the PC, power, and internet connection remaining available. Arrange who will check the stream and who can restart OBS or restore the connection if it stops. A PC specification alone cannot guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 operation.
YouTube advises creators to continuously monitor audio and video quality. For an around-the-clock tour, plan for checks over time rather than relying only on a successful launch.

Plan for archives and interruptions
YouTube says livestreams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume one uninterrupted 24-hour broadcast will produce a complete archive. If a complete replay matters, consider scheduling shorter sessions and verify the current behavior in YouTube Studio; retain your source recording independently when you need a copy.
After an interruption, check the encoder and internet connection, then confirm in the Live Control Room that YouTube is receiving a healthy feed before relying on the stream again. YouTube’s guidance does not promise that OBS or the platform will automatically restore a dropped local feed, so include a human recovery plan.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you want the YouTube tour to continue without leaving a home computer running, StreamNeo is a cloud service for looping uploaded videos on YouTube. Upload the tour video, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It plays uploaded video rather than broadcasting a live camera, so prepare the tour footage first.
- Nothing has to stay on at home; the stream runs from the cloud.
- Your upload streams as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot rather than quality-based tiers.
- StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream.
- The first day is free with no card, one free day per account.
The monthly option is $9.99 per month. UPI and cards are available in India; card checkout is available worldwide. Each slot includes one always-on stream, pooled storage of 10 GB per active slot, 24/7 looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops, and StreamNeo team support. The product is YouTube-only.
