To run a 24/7 Gujarati garba and bhajan stream on YouTube, first confirm your channel can livestream and clear the rights to every song and recording. Then build a continuous program, send it through an encoder or a YouTube-focused cloud service, and rehearse monitoring and recovery before going live. The most important caution: having a music license does not necessarily prevent YouTube from interrupting the stream; the rights owner may also need to allowlist your channel.
Plan the stream around its music rights
Before you schedule an always-on broadcast, make an inventory of every item in the playlist. A devotional composition, a particular arrangement, and a particular sound recording can involve different rights. The fact that a bhajan or garba song is old, traditional, or devotional does not by itself establish that a modern recording is free to stream.
For each track, record the information you can verify:

- The owner or label for the specific recording and where the audio came from.
- Which countries or territories the permission covers, and how long it lasts.
- Whether it permits continuous live streaming, archived playback, and monetization, if you intend to use those features.
- Whether the rights owner must allowlist your YouTube channel.
- Where you keep the license, written permission, or other evidence.
Do not infer that a license for a song covers every recording of it, or that permission for on-demand videos also covers a 24/7 live stream. The exact requirements depend on the work, recording, agreement, and relevant territory. YouTube’s live-stream terms place responsibility on the streamer to have the necessary rights for worldwide exploitation of live content, including music licensing rights. The official materials do not determine whether a particular Gujarati song or recording is cleared in your country, so confirm the playlist with the rights holder or qualified counsel before broadcasting.

Check that your channel can livestream
YouTube’s livestreaming requirements say the channel must be verified and must not have had a livestreaming restriction in the previous 90 days. The help page also says a creator must be at least 16 to livestream. Check eligibility before preparing a long-running program; a restriction can make the rest of the setup unusable.
Choose an encoder workflow for a continuous program
YouTube supports livestreaming from mobile, a webcam, an encoder, or a console. For a scheduled music program with a designed visual, a playlist, and production controls, an encoder is the relevant approach. You can use encoding software on a suitable computer or a dedicated hardware encoder. YouTube recommends professional-grade hardware for higher-production-value events, but hardware is not a requirement and does not solve rights or network problems.

For either option, use an encoder that can send RTMP or RTMPS. YouTube’s encoder guidance recommends constant bitrate (CBR), supports H.264, H.265, and AV1 video codecs, and AAC or MP3 audio. It recommends a two-second keyframe interval and says not to exceed four seconds. Choose a resolution, frame rate, and bitrate that your upload connection can sustain; use YouTube’s current bitrate guidance for the exact output format rather than guessing a single value for all streams.

Configure and rehearse before the channel goes live
- Verify the channel and rights inventory. Confirm livestream eligibility and that every recording and composition in the planned playlist is covered for the intended territories and live use.
- Create the live event in YouTube Live Control Room. Choose the intended visibility and schedule, then use the stream key and server details shown for that event in your encoder. Treat the stream key as a password: do not publish it or share it with people who do not need access.
- Configure the encoder. Select RTMP or RTMPS, a supported video and audio codec, CBR, a two-second keyframe interval (never more than four seconds), and a resolution and bitrate appropriate to your connection and output format.
- Measure upload capacity. Test the actual connection you will use. YouTube recommends leaving 20% headroom above the stream’s required upload bandwidth; do not plan to consume all measured capacity with the broadcast.
- Start the encoder feed and preview it in Live Control Room. Check that the correct event is receiving video and audio, and listen for clipping, silence, imbalance, or unexpected audio between tracks.
- Test recovery and the local archive. Practice the backup-encoder or failover procedure, and confirm that any local recording you intend to keep is being written and growing.
- Check viewer access. Open the watch page and channel page, and test playback on a mobile device before relying on the stream for an audience.
- Monitor the live stream. Watch stream health and audio/video quality. For a round-the-clock operation, assign a person or service to notice a frozen picture, silence, or disconnection and document who restarts the encoder or switches to a backup.
YouTube’s operational advice is primarily event-oriented. It recommends previewing, monitoring, and testing backup-encoder failover, but its cited guidance does not promise uninterrupted 24/7 operation or specify a universal restart system. Make the monitoring and recovery plan your own, and test it before launch.
Understand YouTube music matching and archived-stream claims
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it detects a match, it may warn the streamer, replace the broadcast with a placeholder, interrupt it temporarily, or terminate it if the content remains. A license alone may not prevent this: YouTube says a rights owner may need to add a licensed channel to its allowlist. Ask the relevant rights owner whether allowlisting is required and confirm that it has been done before relying on the permission.
Ending the live broadcast does not necessarily end rights checks. An archived stream may receive a Content ID claim after the stream ends. Plan for the archive as a separate use: verify that the relevant permissions cover it and decide how you will respond if a claim appears.

Content ID is a rights-management system, not a permission service for creators. YouTube’s Content ID eligibility guidance says submitted reference material must be exclusively owned by the rightsholder; continuous DJ mixes and compilations are not suitable as one reference and must be separated into individual components. That rule describes what rightsholders can submit and claim. It does not grant a streamer the right to use the music.

YouTube also describes a separate live-stream Content ID matching feature for certain eligible partners using Content Manager. It has strict global-rights and exclusive-ownership requirements and excludes third-party material such as background music from the matched stream. Ordinary creators should not assume they can use this specialized rightsholder feature to clear or protect a broadcast.
Do not rely on Creator Music revenue-sharing tracks for this program: YouTube’s usage requirements for those tracks say videos cannot be live streams. More generally, check the terms for each track instead of assuming a music catalog license covers continuous live use, every territory, monetization, or archived playback.

Troubleshoot common 24/7 stream problems
- The event does not receive the encoder feed: Check that the encoder is using the stream key and server details for the intended event, then confirm the encoder is actually sending. Keep the stream key private; if you believe it has been exposed, replace it through YouTube’s event controls and update the encoder.
- The stream buffers or loses connection: Check the measured upload speed and connection stability, reduce the output bitrate or resolution if needed, and restore YouTube’s recommended 20% bandwidth headroom. Test a backup connection or encoder if your runbook includes one.
- Audio is silent, clipped, or mismatched: Check the encoder’s selected audio input, codec, levels, and playlist transitions in the Live Control Room preview. Rehearse the entire path from source file to audience playback, not just the encoder meter.
- YouTube warns, interrupts, or ends the broadcast: Treat this as a possible third-party-content match. Follow the platform notice, identify the matching track, and resolve the rights issue with the owner. If the music is licensed, verify whether the channel has been allowlisted; do not assume a license document prevents an automated interruption.
- A claim appears after the stream: Review the archived segment and the rights documentation for the specific recording and intended archive use. A post-stream claim is possible even if the live program completed.
- The stream stops when nobody is at the computer: The DIY encoder setup depends on the equipment and connection running. Add an assigned monitor, an alert and restart procedure, and a tested backup plan, or use a cloud workflow designed to keep uploaded videos running without a home computer.
