If your app already has TON Connect set up, use Omniston Widget’s integrated mode and pass the existing instance in tonconnect.instance. Do not create a second TonConnect instance for the widget: STON.fi warns that multiple TON Connect instances can crash the application.
Pass the existing instance to the widget
Initialize TON Connect once in your application, then give that same object to Omniston Widget. Replace the example variable below with the instance your app already uses.

Set up the manifest and dependencies
- Use your app’s existing TON Connect dependency and instance. Install
@ston-fi/omniston-widget-loader. Add@tonconnect/sdkonly if your app does not already use it; do not add a second instance just for the widget. - Host a TON Connect manifest for your application. Configure the existing TON Connect object or provider with that manifest URL. STON.fi says the manifest must be hosted on the same domain as the application; wallets reject connections when the domains do not match.
- Load and create the widget. Load the constructor, then set
tonconnect.typetointegratedandtonconnect.instanceto the already initialized object. - Mount only after the container exists. Pass the container DOM node to
widget.mount(...). If the selector returnsnull, render or locate the container before mounting.
Choose integrated mode when your app owns wallet state
Omniston documents two connection modes. Choose according to who already manages TON Connect:

These modes are not interchangeable ways to create a second connection. When the app already has an instance, integrated mode shares it with the widget. STON.fi’s guide states that only one TON Connect instance can exist in an application because of SDK limitations and warns that multiple instances can crash the app.
Mount and clean up in React
In React, retrieve the UI instance from the TON Connect provider, load the widget asynchronously, mount it into a ref-backed element, and unmount it when the component cleans up. The official widget guide includes a React example using useTonConnectUI().

Confirm the cleanup method and constructor types against the package versions in your project; STON.fi’s published pages do not provide a compatibility matrix for every TON Connect SDK or UI release.

@ston-fi/omniston-widget-loaderin a bundled application. It retrieves the widget bundle at runtime. - CDN script: use the documented script when you do not have a build setup. The guide uses major-versioned paths; update the major path when adopting a breaking version.
The widget loads its styles automatically. Whichever loading method you choose, integrated mode still requires passing your app’s existing TON Connect instance.

These options affect widget presentation or referral configuration; they do not change the one-instance requirement.

Troubleshoot common integration failures
- The app crashes or wallet state is inconsistent: check that the widget receives the existing instance and that no other part of the app creates a second TON Connect instance.
- A wallet rejects the connection: confirm that the manifest is hosted on the same domain as the application and that the configured URL points to that manifest.
- The widget does not appear: ensure the loader has completed, the container element exists, and the DOM node passed to
mountis not null. - The asset selector is empty: if built-in assets are disabled, supply a non-empty
customAssetslist. - React cleanup behaves unexpectedly: verify the widget is unmounted when the component is removed, and check the lifecycle API for the versions you use.
STON.fi’s documentation does not establish compatibility for every TON Connect SDK/UI version or formal lifecycle guarantees across releases. Check the current widget and package documentation when selecting versions.
